I’m glad the ballboy took a dive as soon as he felt contact and made a meal of it……give him a taste of his own medicine.
I was a ballboy in the late eighties at Springfield Park and we were all told to take our time if we are winning and if we are losing or drawing hurry up.

I remember getting a bollocking of Mark Kendal the Wolves goalie for deliberately taking my time, I just grinned and felt like I’d done my bit for my team.
The ballboy looked like a propper annoying little twat.
But while Hazard will sleep sound tonight in his 4 poster bed that kid will have a number of death threats on the way to him from bitter blues to think about…..
Saw it very clearly on TV looks bad and I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of this-very lengthy ban in my view if proven to be deliberate.
fair play to the other Chelsea players checking the lad was ok-he’s only a kid for heavens sake!
So glad Swansea went through to what will probably be the most interesting and captivating cup final for decades.
I have never understood why players never say thanks or at least acknowledge ball boys/girls. It doesn’t matter who you are, manners should go hand in hand with any sport in my opinion ! If I was a professional footballer I would think nothing of saying cheers or thanks ! Ignorant fcukin joy boys !
A tweet from the ball boy has just been shown on SSN, hours before the game were he is bragging about being the worlds best ball boy and time waster.
I’m not condoning what hazzard did, but the little shyte was deliberately trying to stop him getting the ball back. I also think hazard was trying to kick the ball and not the lad. A bit of wilful time wasting has backfired on the boy.
Hazard got the red card, apologised to the lad after the game and that should be it.
Lets congratulate Swansea for reaching the final, its a shame that their moment of glory will play second fiddle to the hazard incident and that’s a shame. :(
Daily Mail names him as a son of a director of Swansea.
Notwithstanding any of that, and agreeing completely with JR he is an annoying little twonk, it is up to the referee to add time on that he deems to have been lost for whatever reason, and players cannot kick out at anyone for any reason. It is clear violent conduct, and is a red card offence.
