please no, another winger is hardly what we need, unless we are selling someone, come on rm we are crying out for a couple of defenders
23 January 2012 at 4:54 pm #79219Not that I disagree with you necessarily, but realistically where do you see us finding any sufficiently willing and able central defenders?
23 January 2012 at 5:35 pm #79224from the same tin that we are going to get a proven premier league goal scorer
23 January 2012 at 5:43 pm #79226“We are missing that clinical touch in the last third ,but that doesn’t concern me.” Ok ,no striker needed then lets just get another winger and its onwards and upwards. :woohoo:
23 January 2012 at 6:00 pm #79227You are assuming:
1. He will ever start a game. Allow the rest of the season for him to adapt to our rigourous fitness standards and the pace of the premierl league
2. He will be played on the wing.

well seeing as we are looking at championship level strikers, hows that for a starting place that would seem to be were our bugets at, ridgewell perhaps

Never mind defending, Ridgewell is a better winger than Beausejour as well
23 January 2012 at 11:11 pm #79256Unbelievable, about the only position in the team we are reasonably strong with Moses, Crusat, Mcmanaman & Maloney, plus Hugo can play there. Can’t remember him being too hot at Birmingham either

But he will be told not to try to hard as we don’t care about cup competions
:evil:24 January 2012 at 12:19 am #79265Not seen enough of the lad and therefore don’t know if he is an out and out winger or someone who can play more centrally (in place of Gomez, maybe?) or even as a sriker??? If he is just another wide player then it does seem a bit of strange one. Unless he has a really good mate who goes everywhere with him who can play centre-half

24 January 2012 at 9:14 am #79294for gods sake we need top goalscorers and 3 bloody defenders to clear this chaffe out
24 January 2012 at 2:34 pm #79306I work with a number of Birmingham City fans and they’ve been having a laugh at my expense this morning.
They say last season he was OK, but this season he’s done utterly nothing.
Not being a dark-sider, I reckon thay maybe he’ll be another N’Zogbia for us. But then again, maybe not.
