We do appear to have a serious fitness problem at our club. Week in week out we fade in the final 3rd of the game. Injured players coming back aside, what is going on ?
I continue to be shocked that martinez can justify playing diame/zombie thomas before mccarthur. mccarthur has been excellent every time ive seen him, he played against villa and bolton and had 2 excellent games and then gets dropped for diame(the laziest man ever) and the zombie gets brought on before him!

also on the subject of watson, i think that last night he played ok, though once again (aside from the goal) his delivery from set pieces is woeful. i actually believe i could put better balls in that him sometimes, he rarely beats the first man and when he does it is overhit (injury time v villa, first half last night). surely charlie should step up and start taking all the free kicks and corners?

That said, I think the fact that McArthur started at Bolton was an indication that he wasn’t going to start against WBA so I don’t think its a case of him being dropped, as such. I’d play both Macs, if it was me.
And Gomez, until Cleverley somes back :wtf:
to be fair to gomez at least he can pass and take freekicks(unlike watson).
also, why does bobby go on about fa cup being good cause it gives us competition for places? well thats a lie because when people play well in it (mccarthur, moses, mccmanaman) they still dont get a start/ dont even get a few minutes in a game? :shock: :shock:
