Perhaps a chance for us now to attract new fans from the local areas??

Just a thought, but there must be people who just want to watch Premiership football and at our prices who can grumble?

Why would people from Blackburn or Bolton want to watch Wigan? If Wigan had’ve been relegated & they hadn’t, would you go to watch either of those teams in the Prem? Stupid idea. :silly:[/quote]

I know a number of people are coming next season as a result of us staying up, a family who watch Bolton want to come see us next season. And the cost of watching a premiership game is cheaper at Wigan than the surrounding area now, which will bring in the casual fan base, i.e. foreign fans etc. Am sure chairman Dave will kick off a marketing campaign…

The database only really kicks in for the ‘big’ games, if people buy tickets for Swansea, Norwich, QPR, Fulham and Sunderland…. they will be good to go for ever.

I always wondered why some of the Man Utd, Liverpool, Everton and such didn’t think about coming to five games whilst their team was away…..

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

Taken from the BBC sportsday live:

‘Bolton confirm away friendlies against Crewe Alexandra, Morecambe, Portsmouth and Tranmere Rover’

These will soon become league games!
