Well that could be bad for us tomorrow, Blackburn now have probably resigned themselves to the drop, they need far too much to go their way now. Will this mean that we will have an easier ride at Ewood, I don’t think so, if they had something to play for they would have opened up from the start and I think we wold have battered them.

A draw is all we need, but the task will be harder I think after today’s results. It might well need something from the last game, but i hope we do the necessary tomorrow night, a win would be so sweet so that we can play the last game for fun.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

I think Blackburn will go for it. If they beat us say, 2-0, then the GD will only be +2 in our favour. We lose by the odd goal against Wolves, and they win by the odd goal it will then go down to goals scored and their’s is far superior to ours.
Given that scenario, and Bolton fail to win at Stoke, Blackburn stay up.

Im not too sure Jayt, I think it may work in our favour as im hoping the natives are filled with vitriol and hate with the realisation they have all but gone.Had they been in with a great chance im sure they would have got behind the team and tried to rally them. Now i reckon it will be a strange atmosphere with anti Kean/Venkys chants all thru which hopefully will suit us.This may well have a negative affect on the Rovers players and play into our hands.Fingers crossed.

Yes but they still have the small hurdle of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, who will still have quality players available that are not going to play in Munich.

Agreed but it is an incentive for them to try and beat us by at least a two goal margin tomorrow night.

We will send Blackburn down on Monday, if we play anything like we have been doing it may not even be close.

I think we will beat them tomorrow and i have felt that for a few weeks now.The crowd will be the telling factor tomorrow and i expect a sit behind the ball night to catch them on the break-2-0 Latics!

If they attack, then it leaves space for us to counter attack with freedom; so they can’t be too adventurous can they !

Do you really think that the “want aways”, Yak & Hoillet will be totally up for it. Probably onto their agent now, fixing their next big pay cheque.

The OP was suggesting that Blackburn don’t have anything to play for and they might make it difficult for us by not opening up and going for the win. I’m suggesting they do have an incentive to win, by as many goals as possible. It’s their only option on the night if they trying to be realistic about staying up.

We play Rovers and Wolves and we need to lose a six goal diff advantage to keep Rovers up as you say. They didnt manage 1 attempt on goal at Spurs while we have been tight at the back of late, Wolves wont be easy but we should at least get a point.QPR will get thumped at City in my opinion and we could lose both games but as long as they are narrow defeats we could finish above Rangers on GD.A lot can happen yet but anything from the game tomorrow and its party time.

                  Imagine this scenario tonight!
Your a Blackburn Roarverrrrrs player and you have just heard todays results meaning that you now have to obtain maximum points against the form team in the division and the FA cup winners and Champions league finalists and also score a sh/tload of goals to boot.
Your also facing barrel loads of abuse from the now very disgruntled supporters making the task you face almost impossible. You would really get up in the morning with a great feeling wouldnt you?????????
Bear in mind the fact that a very very poor Latics side should have beaten you back in november only for dodgy reffing decisions and a clumsy get of a goalie sticking his head into somebodies boot to get a lucky penalty.
The ball is truly in our court and i quote our former manager Larry Lloyd who said the other week ” the wolves game wont matter”
                  :cheer:

Worst case tomorrow – predicted 2-2

Turn up as we have done in recent week (bar Fulham)and 3 points on offer.

Gutted that QPR scored in last minute today – hope City turn them over next week and that BW ‘do a Wigan’ and triumph last day at Stoke. Don’t like Hughes, look forward to doing BW at the Reebok again next season (and getting our revenge at DW).

Probably, 3 southern-based clubs coming up (Reading, Saints, WHU). Bad news for North-West if Blackburn and Bolton both go down …
