I dont want us to go down but we are in reallity but im really proud my little club has defied all odds for 7 seasons. It was always gonna happen but who knows eh? hopefully this time next season we will be winning more than we dont.Bob has made some big mistakes and i dont think he is up to the task but he isnt alone in taking us down. I think in hindsight Mr Whelan may have done some things differently as well.We could change the manager but in all honesty with the calibre of our squad i would doubt anybody will be able to stave off the inevitable. When its finally sealed there will be tears but not for long.Ive seen far more success than despair in my time as a Latics fan so whatever happens for the rest of the season i,ll accept it and look forward to better times whenever they may come.
Where are these spineless martinez haters at the match? They claim they are there in abundance but i dont hear em. Chants of ‘Roberto Martinez’ rang round the ground at points. I believe i speak for most fans who would rather see Bobby as our manager next season no matter what league we are in.
Its not me doing that though thats himself………he is truly out of his depth and although i’m pointing that out…..for both his sake and granted mainly Wigans sake he should go.
Do you know….honestly
I feel as if I have watched a different game to a few of the people on here today. Each and everyone (the negative types in particular) have focused on maybe 3 or 4 minutes of a game that lasted 47 mins in the first half and 51 mins in the second half.
I am not going to wax-lyrical about all the good stuff I watched today because psychologically the ‘doomsters’ have already pre-programmed and pressed the self destruct buttons (they can’t help it – and I won’t bore you with the details) suffice to say there is a lot of money to be made in some of the people on here.
There was some real quality from some of our players out there today………..first person to diss this statement I will haunt.
Bandwagon jumpers…we should have stuffed them with them only having ten men and all that – are the same people who cannot remember the chants to Bolton when we went down to 10 men and beat them – this is the feckin premier league….teams practice these tactics; live with it.
We played damn well today…but we drew (so feckin what) – I remember the best ever scoreless draw I have ever witnessed in this journey to Aston Villa a few years ago…..there were mistakes granted, but we played well in a very open (and sometimes suicidal) game…………..
……….however, I wouldn’t want to be the next set of teams, particularly their managers (regardless of ‘status’) facing us because we will be rampant and we will be blessed with that ‘change of luck’ coming our way.
I, for one, will keep the faith.[/quote]
Rampant ? I take it this was typed with tongue firmly in cheek !! ;)

bigroy us Martinez haters are Wigan Athletic fans and for 90 minutes we support our team that is why you don’t hear anything. Also we are shite and demonstrating against Bob will not make them play better, will it!!!!!
