Have parted company with Dougie Freedman.
Just shows how cut throat football is. Even when you’re doing a good job you can get the sack.

Good Job?????? :woohoo:
I’ll give you my workmates phone number and ask him if he thinks he was he doing a good job.
Apparently at last weeks game at home to Derby, 2 fans entered the field from behind the goals in the home end, casually walked over to the Bolton bench and threw their season tickets at Dooooooogie. Not once did a steward or copper intervene. They re-entered the field of play again and casually walked over towards whence they come, it was only when they got to the keeper that he decided to have a go at um and then some coppers and stewards thought theyd better get on and duly piked um off down the side exit.
About 30 seconds later one of the blokes, who were both middle aged not kids, ran back on the field and tear arsed across to the adjacent stand. My mate said it was so funny, the fact that they strolled about and were not challenged.
Dooooogie won’t be the first and wont be the last manager to get potted this season, are you listening Mr Ardpoo!! :P
From Matlock to ManU

6 October 2014 at 6:24 pm #133928Phil Gartside gives it to the Bolton faithful
6 October 2014 at 7:41 pm #133931Herr Swappenchange will be worrying then, as their records this year are quite similar.
Do they worry anymore? Coyle left with a nice wedge off Latics and a bigger one off Noblot.
Don’t think they will be worrying about tax credits or housing benefit or even signing on not like the fans who follow football.
Got to admit the odd million stashed away here and there would be quite handy.6 October 2014 at 9:23 pm #133932Herr Swappenchange will be worrying then, as their records this year are quite similar.

With the qualifications Donny has gained throughout his career he would sail through the FA Coaching badges like they were swimming or cub scout badges.
Fitness may be a problem though eh fatty.
Lets face it, 90% of footballers leave a lot to be desired in the intelligence stakes and there are a few fatties in league management, so it can’t be too difficult to pass can it?.7 October 2014 at 10:01 am #133936Well not many of us on here could have done much worse than are mon and the Noblot mon this season.

It’s a pity that Griff, because I honestly reckon it can’t be too hard.
I would go as far as to put money on most fans on here being able to guide the Latics to Championship safety at the very least.

Don’t talk such absolute nonsense. For a start, there would be a full squad of players who would completely ignore you because of your lack of football knowledge and you clear previous allegiance to Cloud Cuckoo Land FC.
Jesus, I have read some shite on this site over the years but this is right up there with the best of it.
Please tell me you were taking the piss!

Maybe most fans on here would not be able to do it, but I am sure some could.
Your comment regarding lack of football knowledge is beyond me unless you paint everyone with the same brush as yourself who is too easily taken in by media spin and buzz words from Spanish managers.
It’s about Managing and guiding a group of people and gaining their trust and respect, you do not have to have played 500 league games to gain football knowledge or be able to manage people.
If the group of players went into it with an open mind and decided not to go in with a Johnny big bollox atitude, which I know would never happen, then there is no reason why it could not be done.
9 October 2014 at 10:10 am #133953Griff has a good point here because without the experience as a player and the Car, House, Birds and Lifestyle of the modern pro footballer the average mon on here would not fit in and they may even keep the same team two matches running, not rest players who played well in their last match, pick the best team, play players in position, not pick their favourites, play fast flowing attacking football and play their strikers together as strikers. But alas without those lifestyle factors fortunately non of us would ever get that opportunity.
