So what do you do to the sides yet to play them?
If you expunge the records of the games already played then it becomes a 44-game season, so nothing needs to be done about future games.
Alternatively you award all future games as a 3-0 (for example) win[/quote]I know, I was referring to laticssince78’s post about why sides should suffer.
Equally giving some sides a 3-0 win isn’t exactly fair so no points counting at all would be the fairest way

We may not want ‘fairness’ on this occasion!! Bloody fairness …….. itmight br rubbish!
19 March 2019 at 9:02 pm #177459Administration will make them finish the season then all asset’s including players can be sold off.
Please Cooke don’t buy Andrew Taylor!19 March 2019 at 9:15 pm #177460How many times have we heard, ‘This is it!’, with regards to Bolton.
I fully expect either another delay or money to turn up from a dubious source.
19 March 2019 at 10:28 pm #177462Administration and a points deduction is the fairest way as clubs who have played them wouldn’t lose points
They should be made to fullfill their fixtures behind closed doors with youth team players if necessary to save money on staffing costs.
At the end of the season the situation can then be reviewed and the consequences faced.
We all hate Bolton, but I am sure most of us would sooner see them in eternal turmoil in the lower leagues or non league than fold altogether.
If they sell the Stadium that should raise enough money to pay off a huge chunk of debt and there may be a bit left over for a 8000 seater stadium to be built which they could share with our cuckoos to keep costs down.19 March 2019 at 11:49 pm #177463Agree with all of that Horc except where you say they could play behind closed doors; even with matchday costs they would still get a profit through the gates even without allowing for season tickets. Away fans will provide some money in, and with limited expenditure they will turn a profit on each game
19 March 2019 at 11:55 pm #177465Bet they’d still rip the away fans off.
20 March 2019 at 12:13 am #177466Bet they’d still rip the away fans off.The administrators’ job is to maximise income, so that’s a given
20 March 2019 at 12:34 am #177467Birmingham points deduction possible this week as well
20 March 2019 at 1:55 am #177469Bolton will go into administration and a take over will quickly follow as the consortium who pulled out on Friday will get it much cheaper then.
20 March 2019 at 10:31 am #177472If Bolton’s results are expunged, then it opens up more questions, like: what if an opposing player was red carded in one of the games. That red card could have had an impact on the teams next three results. Hoe do you correct that situation ? Answer is that you can’t.
Can I have a refund for my ticket to the away game ?

Results won’t be affected Ali, 12 points will be the outcome then the league will have to decide whether its this season or next the deduction comes in. If its this then basically Bolton have mugged every one off coz they are going down anyway. Expect them to be bought out very soon.
20 March 2019 at 4:01 pm #177477A buyer in play apparently and adjourned until April 3rd.
20 March 2019 at 4:20 pm #177478Basically let off yet again. Surprising how much leniency there is if you’ve had players in Charles Buchan’s Football Annual.

Surprising how much leniency there is if you’ve had players in Charles Buchan’s Football Annual.According to the BBC report, this is the sixth winding up order in 16 months and that is not counting the ones from the Dean Holdsworth takeover era.
It is beyond ridiculous what they keep getting away with. -
