There’s a thread on a certain city website urging people to boycott all merchandise/food/ale etc inside wembley on final day……..an unbelievable number have agreed to it in protest at the stupid kick off time and to show the FA that we are not mugs who will pay through the nose for crap items just because it’s a final..
I for one will not even buy a pint before or at half time on final day INSIDE wembley. i have bought a ticket and that is all the pathetic FA are getting out of me.
HIT THEM WHERE IT HURTS….IN THE POCKET….BOYCOTT ALL FA/WEMBLEY PRODUCTS
It must really hurt them when people who paid £85 for a ticket don’t buy a pint.
goodpost
The FA don’t give a damn about the fans, we know that.
Like you say, not buying a beer won’t make the slightest difference to the FA, just means you go thirsty.
As an aside, we went in entrance G last time. The first bar on the left (where we went) was £4.90 for Bud, but went round the corner and the next bar was £4.70
Will have to check out the bars before purchasing next time. Since it’s the final they’ll probably put another £1 at least on anyway
Or Big Asda just around the corner from the Torch. 4 pack for less than price of a pint. They won’t even notice you sipping it in the beer garden. It was that packed last time hardly even saw any staff outside.
Was at Wembley for the City game and a lot of their fans were drinking cans around the ground & on the tube. Can’t say i blame anybody for boycotting at the prices being charged, pish take.
It’s not as though everyone doesn’t know that prices are rip-off, so why the need for a “don’t buy anything at Wembley” campaign, or you to tell me what I can or can’t buy?
The more educated amongst us wouldn’t dream of buying any of that shi,te they call ale, Snowy and his chums will be finding a decent real ale pub somewhere near to the stadium and getting p*ssed I mean drinking responsibly in there.
Why do you need to supp ale before a football game? FFS stay of the pop and enjoy the game, and I guarantee you wont be nipping off to the bogs every 10 minutes for a piss anarl.

Why drink so much?
You’ve forked out all the expense for a ticket and transport down there and will probably miss half the game pissing it down the bog??
I begrudge paying ridiculous beer prices as much as the next person but having already forked out over £100 for the privilege of seeing us play in an FA Cup final the Salford household budget can go whistle.
Enjoying the day out will be the top priority for me.
