YOU COULD SEE THIS COMING LAST JAN, I SAID BRUCE WOULD GO, BECAUSE THE CLUB HAS NO AMBITION, AND THAT APART FROM NOT PAYING THE WAGES PREM PLAYERS DEMAND IS WHY WE CANT HOLD ON TO ANY CLASS PLAYERS. WE HAVN’T GOT THE MANAGEMENT STAFF OR THE SQUAD TO STAY UP THIS SEASON. I THOUGHT THE FOOTBALL PLAYED AFTER LAST JAN WAS CRAP, BUT ITS A LOT WORSE NOW. FOR GODS SAKE WE ARE BUYING CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYERS. NUFF SAID!!!
Not sure about that:
Kirkland – Good keeper despite what people say.
Melcheot – Solid…not many better right backs
Bramble – Solid
Boyce – looks a bit rusty at the moment but more games will improve him
Figgy – we know what he can do
Diame – Think he will be better than Cattemole…just needs time
Thomas – reminds me of Palacios…but needs time
N’Zogbia – He is OK, just needs to focus on his final ball (If he decides to pass it)
Sharner – not a midfielder
Sinclair – Has the skill, needs to Gel
Gomez – I think he is a class act, a bit like Arteta…needs time to pick up the pace though
Rodders – we know what he can doKing – tvvat
Scotland – Jurys out
Koumas – Better this season…dunno what to say
Cho – needs a chance in the first team
Edman – class actso – I think what I am getting at is this team needs time to Gel – I do think it is a bit worrying not to get another stiker….would have taken a 6 month loan for Macheda at United…but hey…there are worse teams around us….FFS, look at Bolton :lol:

Boyce – Not upto the standard
Figeuroa – Ok – Not as good as Edman
Diame – Agree with you
Thomas – Again agree, Will do well with time
N’Zogbia – Yes a little greedy but one of the only ones with a bit of flair
Scharner – Ok player, Temprament completely wrong, need shut of him
Sinclair – Playing for a chance at Chelsea, Looks quite the player
Gomez – Nice distribution, Needs help around him
Rodallega – Good but on his own???King – Agree (obviously)
Scotland – Not good enough, Silly gamble on someone gone 30 unproven in a league like this
Koumas – Needs a run of games
Cho – Unsure
Edman – Should be in the starting XINot too disheartened yet its early days. If we stay up then we will look 50 times better this time next year. Needs time but will he get it???

kirkland – should be bench keeper to injury prone how can your defence be solid when your 1st keeper missing all the time

I am worried if something happens to Hugo as we seem a bit light up front, but to be honest, playing 1 up front every game is fairly light anyway.I am sure Whelan doesn’t want to go down on purpose, but, it is strange some of the things that have happened…£12M for Turner at Hull, but we get £6M (rising to £8M) – How is Turner £4M better?

Our squad is the worst i’ve seen for many a year our Championship team would have murdered this team. We have sold quality and replaced them with shite Championship players who just are not good enough.
People keep saying there are worse teams in the Premiership than us?

Hindley – Out of the players we have let go, I think we have replaced them with just as good or better:
Palacios – Thomas (I think this guy will be a blinder in a few games)
Cattemole – Diame (As above)
Valencia – Sinclair (gets more involved with the game, looks sharp, just needs to gel)
Heskey – Scotland…….err..give him time?!

Have you been watching football on T.V. Wilson has been out standing for Spurs and was for us. Diame first impressions are good but he and Henry Thomas will take time to settle so the jury is out. Scotland will never make it in the Premier League he ain’t good enough and no amount of time will make any difference. Sinclair is a young kid with great potential but not sure he is what we need for a relegation dog fight which I’m sure we will be in.
But what I really cannot understand is the love affair some people on here have with Gomez. He is slow can’t tackle his distribution is poor he can’t head a ball for me he adds nothing to the team, HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.
The Gomez fan club will no doubt hammer me for this but he wouldn’t have got in the team last year, Fact:
