Do you mean like buying shoes from the market? You should go to a proper brand, with warranty and one of them machines like they used to have in clarkes that measure your feet and scare kids.
16 December 2012 at 2:38 am #98059I bought cheap once in Bangkok and got two ;)

Trust me. Reading your first post, it is hard.
So, you’re saying we should buy more expensive players?
Fantastic.

No, no – Lowey has the answer. All we have to do now is find the money.

The thing is aceface, even if we wanted to, we haven’t got the money to do that, and with the new legislation coming into place, our spending is only going to get less and less.16 December 2012 at 4:50 am #98088Swansea,Norwich,wba,stoke,not flushed with cash but they seem to be doing fine,so why are we so shite, the usual argumentative duo will no doubt reply with abuse

norwichand swansea contradict what you are saying and that makes your post so stupid on every point
16 December 2012 at 5:07 am #98091Swansea,Norwich,wba,stoke,not flushed with cash but they seem to be doing fine,so why are we so shite, the usual argumentative duo will no doubt reply with abuse1. Peter Coates who owns Stoke also owns Bet365. He makes Whelan look like a pauper.
2. Swansea, Norwich, WBA bring in more money than us through the turnstiles, shirt sales and sponsorship. Also, none of them have maintained as long a stay in the Premier League as us in recent years. Let’s see how they are all (maybe WBA aside) doing in nine year’s time.
3. It’s a forum. People argue. If you can’t argue, don’t post. The ‘insults’ (I’d call them jibes, but if you are that thin skinned, fair enough) from me to you come as a result of you not being able to argue and going straight to insults.

Stoke yes, but Norwich and Swansea I dont buy that. We have had 8 years in this league ot build a team, and have a good first team if they stay fit. We have been lucky in recent years and our poor squad is coming to haunt us.
Most pundits think we have a great first team, but the manager needs to realise that unless you play them with the attacking ethos of the end of last season, they will continue to fail.

Yes
As mighty aff explained
You go to Wigan market and buy a cheap pair of shoes, on the way home the heel falls off, so you hop back to town and another cheap pair which hurt so you buy yet another cheap pair.
Or buy the expensive pair from clarks , which last you a long time and are vary comfy
Eventually the amount you have wasted on the cheap pair cost more than if you had invested a little bit more in the first place.
