JR,
That’s a fair point. I’ve been reading this board since it started but never felt much like posting, even long before I “grew up” (note the inverted commas!). I also read Wiganer.net. Both sites have some intelligent, articulate and funny contributors. And both have some that are, erm, not.
Anyway, this is my twenty-something post I think. I’m obviously not as prolific as some others on here. I guess my ‘return’ (if you can actually call it that) has been prompted by the need to log in just to view the message board. I might as well chip in now and then if I’m being forced to log in! (It’s really hard work typing in a username and password…).
Whether I’m on here or not, Wigan Athletic has an ambassador in Berkshire and London.
Cheers.

Do I know you Wigan Exile? Are you one of the London Latics?

I’m not one of the London Latics. I’m from Newtown/Pemberton originally, moved to the West Country after uni in Manchester (should be mates with Bath Latic really as that’s where I lived). Met the wife over there and we moved to Berkshire 3 years ago for work and family reasons. We live in Wokingham, a few miles south of Reading.
I work in central London. Do you live/work in London mate?

18 March 2013 at 4:28 am #105519Well, he kept the Everton team and they carried on where they left off.
Martinez now has to choose his team from a squad!
To today’s team you can add;
Di Santo
Caldwell
Al Habsi
McArthur
Espinoza
Stamwith some promising youngsters
plus Watson, Ramis and Crusat to return from injury.
18 March 2013 at 12:40 pm #105530Don’t think we missed captain cock up,as for the goalie he did well with what he had to do
18 March 2013 at 3:39 pm #105540No way back for Caldwell now in my view, a return up North is his best option !
