Enough is enough go now ffs.
22 October 2016 at 11:11 pm #151644Absolutely no point in sacking him unless you bin all the coaching staff as well. When Coyle came it should have been new broom sweeps clean but we are still clinging on to Bobbys preaching. Until everybody who was here during Bobs reign has left the club then we will not move on .
22 October 2016 at 11:16 pm #151645Last poster is spot on I said exactly the same today if we sack him we need to sack the lot.
22 October 2016 at 11:28 pm #151647Give him/them 3 more games and if there is no improvement then let them go because otherwise a gap will start to form and once that rot sets in it’s trouble!
22 October 2016 at 11:51 pm #151650Last time we was in the championship at this stage we had more points and went down. Caldwell out before more damage is done
23 October 2016 at 12:19 am #151653For me Caldwell is not (or should not) be in danger yet.
This is an incredibly long season and we’re not quite 1/4 way through so a little early to be pulling the trigger IMHO.
That said, we do need to see real signs of progress pretty soon.
I reckon the key time will be the Derby home game on 3rd December. If we’re still in the bottom 3 after that game, then the manager’s position for me will be seriously in doubt.
The black clouds really formed over the ground today; was that an omen for Caldwell?
23 October 2016 at 12:21 am #151654I said this a while ago but got shot down and as I posted on the other thread we should have gone for the horses head but we didn’t,Who’s available now NO-ONE so we’ve got the cards were dealt and we crack on GC will come good I’ll put a pint on it .

Think he may be out of his depth?
His substitutions at Bristol cost us that game & he’s not learnt from that. He’s very predictable, he’s trying to copy others ideas rather than having his own which is why he can’t seem to make game changing decisions.23 October 2016 at 1:09 am #151660Don’t be surprised if Jones is ere by xmas
23 October 2016 at 1:21 am #151661If you think Graham Jones would come here, instead of the cushy number he has with one of the world’s top sides. Traveling the world, watching players, and no doubt staying in the best hotels and flying first class, plus the salary he is on, You are deluded. Did you see him with Martinez and Henry at the Barcelona game? Probably on a three year contract at least, and on quadruple the salary he would be on at Wiagn.
23 October 2016 at 1:31 am #151664I saw him at the game today as well and I think he’d love to go alone whether it’s with us or another team.
23 October 2016 at 2:18 am #151665Don’t be surprised if Jones is ere by xmasWhat, yet another of Bobby,s diciples? No thanks.
23 October 2016 at 3:03 am #151668It’s the only thing the whelans trust and it let’s them keep the back room staff. For me bring sherwood in
23 October 2016 at 4:36 am #151669Cardiff, Reading, Barnsley, (Huddersfield) and Derby will need to bring 9 to 12 points to see him safe. If we don’t get that we will defo be adrift and will find it hard to come back. Watching them, I can see it only takes 3 changes for better results to come. Goalkeeper, Powell and Power – stop f*ucking picking them when they have bin dogsh*t all season.
23 October 2016 at 5:17 am #151672I’d give Caldwell two more games. If we don’t see results vs Cardiff and/or Reading (4 points), I’d make the change.
That would allow some extra time for the new gaffer during the international break vs having to take over when the fixtures start coming more frequently during the holidays. Also gives the new manager a good length of time to get a feel for what he has before the January transfer window.
