Live FA Cup Football on TV is shown in the UK by both ITV and BT Sport.
ITV shows coverage from the first round onwards including;
1 live game from the 1st and 2nd rounds,
2 live games from the 3rd round to the 5th round,
2 live FA Cup Quarter Finals and 1 Semi Final.BT Sport will show;
2 live matches plus up to 2 replays from the 1st and 2nd round,
3 live games from the 3rd round to the 5th round
and up to 1 live replay from each of these rounds,
2 live FA Cup Quarter Finals + 1 replay and 1 exclusively live Semi Final.The FA Cup Final Live from Wembley is shown on both ITV and BT Sport.
Hence all the difficult kick off times. I don’t know how they know that there will be a Quarter Final replay.
14 February 2014 at 10:31 pm #127340Cardiff City want Manchester United’s permission to play Zaha in Saturday’s FA Cup fifth-round tie.
I thought we discussed this and found loan players were ineligible under FA rules.
Fabio da Silva and Kenwyne Jones are both cup-tied.

Loanees are allowed to play, as long as they havent played for another club in the competition that season, and with the permission of their parent club.
Danny Graham has played for Hull this season in the FA Cup – Sunderland gave permission, whereas Connor Wickham wasnt allowed to play for Sheffield Wed.
As Man Utd are already out, they are unlikely to refuse permission for Zaha’s involvement.
15 February 2014 at 12:56 am #127343Heard a rumour we’ve sold 1400 tickets for this game, is this true?
Cardiff City fans seem pretty confident of a home win. Even though ole looks like he’ll make plenty of changes. Let’s hope that works in our favour and we come away with a win. Looking at the teams still in this competition a semi final is achievable

Clive Allen, at Cardiff City Stadium for 5 live Sport
Cardiff 1-2 Wigan
“A fantastic performance from the cup holders Wigan. They have come here and done a superb job. The goal that won it warranted them to progress to the quarter-finals. The manager Uwe Roser got it absolutely right tactically, and …..
………….Wigan deserve to defend their cup for at least one round more.”Oh ye of little faith … :dry: :dry:
15 February 2014 at 9:23 pm #127372So looking at the potential draw…
Sunderland
Sheff U/Forest
Sheff W/Charlton
City/Chelsea
Arsenal/Liverpool
Brighton/Hull
Everton/Swansea2 must avoids in City and Arsenal ties.
Everton/Swansea best avoidedAfter that it’s interesting. Would fancy our chances against Sunderland or Hull at home.
Best scenario Sheff W/Charlton at home. Settle for Forest at home as well.
Got everything crossed ready for the draw….keep the faith, the Tics aren’t done yet B)

You’d be forgiven for putting money on that draw. Getting to the semis that route would be poetic justice and make a nice sequel to the movie script that Bob compared our cup win last year to.
All the same I’d rather not draw Everton or any other Prem team for that matter.
Can’t friggin believe we’re just 1 game from Wembley again tho!
16 February 2014 at 2:35 am #127387Teams to avoid then?Got be Man City,Arsenal or Liverpool and Everton. ;)
16 February 2014 at 2:46 am #127388It’s out of our hands!
