Didn’t we beat Arsenal on our way to the last final we reached?

Yes we did but we lost at their place in the 2nd leg but got the all important away goal ! I am not too confident !!
30 October 2010 at 4:26 pm #49691Great tie. Noboby’s expecting us to win, even if they put the kids out they’ll be cocky so we’ve every chance of pulling off a shock.
30 October 2010 at 4:27 pm #49692What easy tie did you all think we’d get?
Good God – talk about doom and gloom. If we’re going to win the thing we’re going to have to play, and beat, the likes of Arsenal and United.
Have some faith.
30 October 2010 at 4:55 pm #49695At this stage I would have preferred Birmingham or West Ham at home giving us a good chance of a 2 leg semi with whoever ! If we beat Arsenal I will be surprised but also ecstatic ! We certainly wont be the bookies fav to progress !

I’m really trying to be as optimistic as you, but…….
I suppose you ‘never know’. We’ll either pull off a shock, or get done 3 or 4 nil. If I were Roberto, I’d consider a few mind games. Pre-match talk of ‘good opportunities to give squad players a game’ and then on the night of the match, put the strongest team possible out.

In fact as I remember it we got beaten on the night.30 October 2010 at 8:11 pm #49730lets be honest a team that scores 7 goals in two games against 2 prem teams, newcastle and man city,we only score 2 goals in 2 games must be a worry for the spanish one, lets be real.
31 October 2010 at 2:54 am #49781Having seen Fulham pass it around and through our lot today I daren’t imagine what Arsenal will do.
31 October 2010 at 5:58 pm #49815It will be unbearably embarrassing the amount of fans we’ll take there.
Although ….. I honestly think we’ll win. ;)
31 October 2010 at 9:49 pm #49830Can anyone remind of the result the last time we played Arsenal?
31 October 2010 at 11:15 pm #49838Can anyone remind of the result the last time we played Arsenal? That was at home and seeing as the game in question is away your post pales into insignificance somewhat !! ;)
