Last two games have shown why he is playing for us in the championship, in general he is a good goal keeper, but the mistakes that led to the goals in his last 2 games are what have blighted his whole career.
Dropped ball v Blackburn nearly cost us and why on earth he went feet first yesterday instead of going for the ball with his hands beggars belief and left us pointless again.
As far as I am concerned, he’s making too many saves.
It’s not a good sign when Carson is nominated as man of the match, as he has been in recent matches.
Was he the only one to make a mistake yesterday? Didn’t he make some good saves too?
Personally think Carson has done brilliant since he has arrived.
The penalty was soft/unlucky but he stopped Ince getting another with a great save when he was clear through on goal.
I cant see Ali walking back into the starting 11.

I agree, watching Carson for 95% of the time in a game you think he’s world class at times, its the other 5% that separates him from being a top class one and the reason he his playing for us.
correct pal, any goalie who is good for 95% of a match will do for me.kamasan
Trouble is when that 5% starts to cost points, as it did yesterday.

he was so unlucky ,he tried to stay big and actually saved the shot with his hand unfortunate the striker was cute and fell over his trailing leg.Result he didnt get sent off.
Cant beleive what i am reading,how many times has he kept us in a game this season and possably won us the game, see theres no mention of the fantastic save he made when ince was 1 on 1 with him and kept us in the game

Liverpool, Aston Villa and WBA all let Carson go because he is error prone, he was good enough to become an England squad regular and was booted out because of the errors I am talking about.

We didn’t lose because Carson conceded a goal. We lost because we couldn’t score!

It might have escaped your attention since you became a huge, successful global travel operator but top goalkeepers play for top clubs. We aren’t, weren’t and never will be, a top club.
He’s good enough for us.
