the main change must be martinez out – co-co the clown in
we may stand a chance of achieving something this season if we make that change.
may i add that we would be also better off with 10 men that that other clown at left full back[/quote]
I only put Figureoa in because I couldn’t think of anyone else to put at left back.
After watching Stam cut in onto his left foot all the time, he surely can’t be worse at LB than Figureoa.
Here’s my revised team.
Al Habsi
Stam
Alcaraz
Ghouori
Boyce
Cleverley
McArthur
McCarthy
Moses
Boselli
Di Santo
I thought McCarthy was awful on Sunday, a brief 5 minute spell when Zog didnt pass to him and he got angry, but the majority of the time he didnt look fit.

He wasn’t brilliant granted, but Thomas, Diame, N’Zogbia and Rodalegga were worse than him.
The trouble with our players is that they’re not very good. If they aren’t playing right at the top of their game they will struggle to give anyone a game.
Also, there was a collective head dropping when the first goal went in and this team simply has no belief that they can come from behind to win or even draw.
I thought McCarthy and Diame were woeful, Thomas was his usual bewildered self and quite why anybody expects Rodallega to be anything but ineffectual these days is beyond me.
On the plus side, there is a photograph of me on the wall in the 188-Bet prawn sandwich lounge. Well, I think the main subject of the photograph was Whelan and the Three Amigos but my eye was naturally drawn to the handsome dude in the background
no belief that they can come from behind to win or even draw.
didn’t they do that v Sunderland?
Just. Against 10 men for an hour.
And I haven’t forgotten the Arsenal game last season either, but to this day I have no idea where that result came from. There must have been a couple of Pakistani bowlers in the Arsenal team that day.
