Only won one in their last eight games and so we should comfortably chalk up another 3pts don’t you think? I’ll go for an easy, effortless, second gear 2-0 win!
28 December 2017 at 2:31 pm #164540No games are easy fil but I believe they have also had a few injury issues so I will be disappointed if we don’t win. It also gives us the chance to put pressure on the chasers by playing first. Massive game and a must win, C,Mon you tics.
28 December 2017 at 3:34 pm #164541Rovers v Irons on Saturday so a win tomorrow and a draw at Ewood would be good for us.
28 December 2017 at 5:35 pm #164542Karl Robinson said after the game when we beat them at their place “he’s worked us out & couldn’t wait to play us again as he knows how to beat us”!! or words to that affect. Should we be worried? Or has he made himself look silly..
They’re not the best on the road & are certainly on a bad run of form, not won in last six. So we should beat these men, don’t like predicting cos I never get it right but will go 3 – 0..
Wonder if we get close to the 10k home fans again for this match.
28 December 2017 at 6:32 pm #164543They will probably try do exactly what Shrewsbury did and park the bus try to frustrate us and play on the break.
An early goal for us hopefully and send them into panic mode!28 December 2017 at 6:33 pm #164544Dont be too surprised if they come to park the bus.

An early goal for us hopefully and send them into panic mode! You could be right but if that isn’t their normal style of play then they won’t be as good at it as Shrewsbury were. The style of footy we saw from Shrewsbury is normal for them, and they are pretty good at it.
28 December 2017 at 8:27 pm #164546I certainly can see how Shrewsbury win so many matches 1-0 and in most cases do it late on. They frustrate their opponents to death then pick um off late on when they start to throw caution to the wind to try and get 3 points. It nearly paid off against us, we had a couple of scares just before the end.
Not my cup of tea in terms of quality of football but it does get results. From Matlock to ManU

It will be a nice change if the referee doesn’t try to ruin the game as they usually have a damn good try.

Not my cup of tea in terms of quality of football but it does get results.I thought and said exactly the same. Could see why they are up there. Not a ‘flair’ side, but one that closes you down well and tight. Very well organised, being honest. Their manager has turned a struggling side into promotion contenders, so fair play.

And with a team of non-league players and the odd journey man.
