CL POSTER REVIEW FOR 2010

as seen through the eyes of Tea Bag – well more loose leaf than bag these days. As the saying goes ‘in no particular order’

Griff – a steady reliable type, who puts his point across well – likes to think he is a bard at times and can be quite argumentative when the need takes him. Seems to spent alot of time on here as exampled by the number of posts made, so must have a decent job that allows him freedom, could also be accused of lurking with the occasional stalk thrown in

Standish – seems to have taken to posting at very unreasonable hours (between 2300 – 0200) lately, which either means he is on permanent nights or has new sprog to cater for. Quite often appears to be backing up Griff – could imagine these 2 in the trenches the officer in charge followed at all times by his faithful lieutenant

Vat 69 – has made more comebacks than Frank Sinatra and has had more clubs and location (names) than Tommy Doc – a welcome return to the board made around the middle of the year, often talks alot of sense but on occasions lets himself down by talking b*l*o*ks – also noted for swaying from one side to the other depending on who he wants to please this week

Sephton 01 – came with a big reputation earlier in the year, claimed that he had ‘inside’ knowledge and made the odd decent comment regarding what was going on at the training ground and potential signings or sales. Gone off the boil a little lately, still his performance might improve if a new contract was / is on the table

James C – a prominent member of the ‘yoof’ section – all good squads need some youth talent and JC seems to tick all the boxes. Can on the odd occassion be guilty of retaliation and loosing his head, but more to come and will learn from experience

Filmoss – the squads loose cannon – seems more akin to spending his time in the pub boozing up when a more sensible approach might be the preferred option – this was recently demonstrated when he tried to introduce new blood to the East – however this turned out to be an unmitigated disaster when said new blood was caught with his pants down between the Brick and the ground (under the railway bridge to be exact) and was more under the influence than Fil

Mr John – aka Arky who this year seems to have settled for just the one user name – his own. A slow and steady type who often tries to gell the fractions on here by organising a day out for them, another late poster, usually around the 2300 hour mark, when he has had a couple of milds, another who can be confrontational at times (well most of the time)

N’ZogbiasLeft Peg – cant work this mon out, blows hot and cold – some people might say he resembles Gomez, soft centre but has a little bit of skill and tends to shine against the weaker opposition, but when he comes up against some big hitters is left wanting

Swindon Latic – seems to be obsessed with trawling the foreign broad sheets or internet sites to bring in the latest news from abroad, then admirably translates it for us mere mortals – may want to seek employment with the Foreign Office

Donnelly WAFC – started off the year having just discovered what ‘cut and paste’ is – was taken to one side by everyone and has since made a return to form by placing his own thoughts down for discussion (well one post actually) – however needs to up the game a little to maintain any credibility. On the up side is commended for his support from across the water

Bob On The Moon – another one who towards the end of the year went off the straight and narrow, seem to prefer supping than penning on the forum – suspected of being a drinking colleague of Filmoss and a west indian hairdresser, however would never be seen with his pantdowns in public like the merry crimper

LoudMouthBlue – had to take gardening leave (was suspended if truth be old) due to being slightly over zealous – quite often he can be compared to Joey Barton, an annoying little toad who has ability and talent. If he settles down in 2011, can be a valued member of the board, if not he could well be getting a free transfer to Wiganer.Net

Bickymon – towards the latter part of the year, well most of the year to be honest has been scathing of the Roberto Martinez style of play – can very often be heard shouting ‘thats shyte’ or ‘we are an embarrasment’ – though always worth listening to due to his experience – can always be relied on to stand his ground in a fracas

The Duke – this poster made his debut in the year and was responsible for valued admirable headline contributions which took the pressure off the established administrators. This enabled them to spend more time in Last Orders and Harrys Bar where a careful glance in the corners will spot them with a Galloways pie dribbling down their chins as they meet to dish out suspensions of posters guilty of unreasonable behaviour. One in particular can be sen driving around in a ‘dodgy’ motor with a personalised plate – which is proving a little big to handle these days and he is guilty of ‘snaffling’ my parking place on occasions by taking up two spaces when one will do
