Following complaints from many supporters about recent comments by TalkSport radio reporter Ian Abrahams on air, and via his Twitter page, the club can confirm that it has received a full apology from both the station and Mr Abrahams. The station has made it clear that there will be no further derogatory comments directed towards Wigan Athletic by Mr Abrahams. :teasing-knob:
Wigan Athletic Head of Media Ed Jones, said: “The matter has now been resolved satisfactorily, and as a club we wish to confirm that we will continue to enjoy a very positive relationship with TalkSport, who have clearly taken this issue seriously.”
No wonder the press and media can’t wait to get rid of Wigan Athletic.
No idea what he’s said, but I can imagine.
Who’s bothered? It’s all old-hat. The same regurgetated derogatory comments that have been churned out over the past six seasons. Is it worth kicking up such a fuss over? it’s all rather petty, and sometimes I wonder how much of it has to do with people connected to our club, convincing themselves.
I bet they have a really big party and :obscene-drinkingdrunk: when we are confirmed as down, and then they can say what they want about us being a ‘tin pot’ little club.
what get’s me is that in our first season the newspapers loved us. little wigan takin this pis$ and all. But now it seems theyve just got pissed off with us cause we haven’t budged yet
lets hope we can still say that come end of may!
