Standish I think you are deluded as you wont have a bad word against the worst manager we have EVER had for the level we are playing at. AT least when we were siht we expected it and were not promised free flowing football like this mon has. Other than that, you have good opinions, just different to me.
I would like to. Forgive my i’m being naive, but Filmoss did you mean a Cockney Latic badge? If so I have quite a few badges on my hat, but Cockney Latic isn’t one.

I can’t attend because my wife is due to give birth at any moment. Most others seem up for it though.
Anyway, the delusional bit:
It’s not a case of me not having a bad word said about Martinez, it’s more a case of being sick of knee-jerk, irrationally bad words said about him.
I’ve already said his system isn’t working, which is blatantly obvious, as if it was, we’d playing like Arsenal and would be challenging for a top four spot, which is where we belong. ;)
I stick up for him because he is the first manager for a long time who actually wants to be at the club and turned down Celtic to come to Wigan, he transformed Swansea from League One also rans into the best footballing side in the Championship, and he is trying to bring in a new style of play (whether he has the players to do it is another matter).
It may take a while, but I’m still confident he can be a success. I’d say that was at the very least optimistic rather than delusional.

i am a Wigan Athletic supporter and therefore a Roberto supporter, I’ll meet any kunt and argue the toss of the rights and wrongs of his management.
I would sooner play the way Bob is trying to get us to play than play like a big set of hoofers like we did under Bruce.

Regarding badges, one of them is like Filmoss avatar, a couple are just Wigan on England flag or WAFC followed by different quotes and most are badges collected from away matches. Like Fulham v Wigan with a date and division.
Also, there are badges with reference to pubs in Wigan and Standish.
You can have badges made, like I had one made for Last Orders in Standish when it was Bears Paw.With regard to meeting the members:
Dont know how many would turn up, but would the DW be an option. What I mean is the Italian at the ground, watch a game from box and then meet the players afterwards.
I have done it twice for a birthday and it’s great and would add to the occassion.
Obviously not free, so don’t know how many would be willing.To the original post. I would definately be up for us all having a drink, As I would love to put my argument over about why I support Martinez (Instead of over a keyboard). I think StandishWalker summed it up more or less though, I think it is a case of being patient. I think if the man stays in charge, He WILL come good for us, and he wants to be at our club. The drink is a good idea though :D

Haven’t been in there since they gor rid of the topless barmaid on Sundays.
The wife’s never worked since.
Stopped smoking a few years ago, so flying bottle is out now. The ultra low ceilings and still people smoking make me heave now.
Miss the odd battle on a Saturday night though. lol
