10 December 2017 at 10:48 pm #164051The only players i can think of who had this contractual thing of having to play, was bogdan, who thankfully got injured & had to return, & the godawful excuse of a goalie we had from stoke.
Cook did state that if jones had have been fit, he would have played.
Cook does what Sharpe tells him to do, simple as that, just the same as Yootha did last season with the goalkeeping debacle, same shit different shovel!
Fuck the EFL
10 December 2017 at 11:34 pm #164052Walton is the better keeper. Both fit and he plays. Same thing with say Dan Burn and Alex Bruce. Pick your best XI. No room for sentiment.
10 December 2017 at 11:42 pm #164053Isn’t it good that we’re debating who is the better of two not-at-all bad keepers? Makes a change. And even if Walton keeps his place now for the rest of the season and we win the league, they will both have earned a Champions medal. Great to have such competition and young Sarkic and Evans as well.
11 December 2017 at 12:08 am #164054I still think its an excellent point, we have two v good keepers for this league. Personally I would have left it as was if he was fit, but now Walton is back with a clean sheet it should be his to then lose.

Personally I would have left it as was if he was.And that is exactly what Paul Cook said would have happened. I don’t understand all this conspiracy stuff, so what if there is a clause, they are both good keepers anyway, and Jamie Jones will have been made aware of it on signing.
Personally I believe what PC has said, and just think some fans look into things too deeply and are only happy when they can find some reason to have a go at the club.11 December 2017 at 2:11 am #164056It’s wiganers for you horc they just love to moan they would be in champs lge for that

To contribute to the thread….. Walton is the better goalkeeper. Colclough is no better than Roberts.
