Just been having a troll down the threads and noticed there seems to have been some crp flying about re. MH.
Let me say I dont give a flyer about internet ‘battles’ between individuals.
Now I dont visit MH much, not my cup of tea, that is not a critcism, fair play to the people who run the site and I’m sure most folk on there are good lads.
However, there is a statement on the home page regarding their aims etc and what they stand for, amongst other stuff. (to much to put here).
A fews line here:
support any individual or group who show respect and demonstrate an interest in our beliefs and objectives. Anyone is welcome to become a part of this, the only thing we do not tolerate is fools, racists
Having read this I then had a browse through ‘open season’Respect and racists.
Well then, there is not much shown here, re. Jordans poor son, Gately, and much more.Sad really as I was quite enjoying the site until I read that some of the horrible stuff on that thread. Mock the dead and infirm. Poor .Very poor.
not registered mate and really can’t be arsed. Know what you mean though. I think they are having a dig at individuals and CL in general. have they always had something against this site. maybe some history?
I wont get into a long debate on this, but there is no ‘beef’ between CL and MHM, quite to the contrary many, if not all the writers on MHM were the founders of the CL fanzine and as such are a part of the history and may well be a part of it’s future.
I can’t (and neither can MHM) legislate for what individuals write on there, but I know it probably gripes them to see some of the names this site is now called on there seeing as without some of them, this site wouldn’t have existed in the first place and possibly MHM too.
I guess what I’m trying to say is they wouldn’t be too bothered about what people they don’t know say about MHM on here, and that goes us at CL as well, we don’t get ourselves worked up about comments on MHM or elsewhere (I hear there is worse said on other boards) – when our paths do cross we just have a normal chat and a drink, we generally don’t talk about either site overmuch to each other. You have to remember, the lads who make CL and MHM possible have been seeing each other at games since the 80’s and before and are mates not just faces or names.
