As we’re being pedants, let’s not forget our apostrophes in “it’s”. That’s what you get when you criticise spelling.

Well, that stirred the hornets nest up good and proper.
There seems to be a bit of a split about Mr McCartney.
I’ll back track a bit on the original sweeping statement about him being totally garbage, but since the Beatles split I stand by every word.
I do however think a lot of his success with the Beatles was down to Epstein and genius of John Lennon. There was still some dodgy moments from the Beatles mind.
Mr Mcs performance was poor at Buck House and as someone else stated he should have hung up his guitar a long time back (circa 1970 when the Beatles officially split). Whether this was due to the PA, his age or just that he is not very good is open to debate.
Madness were good, Kylie looked amazing, Jessie J was her annoying self, but you still would, Robbie was his ‘entertaining’ self, William I am can’t sing live, but Shirley Bassey stole the show with a performance that oozed the absolute class she is. Her voice seemed to stand up pretty well despite her advanced years.
All in all it wasn’t too bad IMO for nowt but it was let down with the damp squid of the finale.

Talking about the finale being a big let down, I have to totally agree. Firstly, Macca’s set went on way too long when compared with other artists that you really wanted to see a lot more of. I thought the staging of Live and Let die with the pyrotechnics and the fireworks was absolutely fantastic, but I was half expecting a Live 8 (2005) style sing-a-long to Hey Jude when all the artists got together on stage at the end.

Just like to add that I thought the projections on the palace during the Madness set were absolutely phenominal. Particularly when they projected video whereby it looked like the palace was a row of terraced houses.

How the fuck has Paul McCartney ever sold a record, he is fucking garbage.
If ever anyone was carried in life by others then look no further than this mon.

Now I’m all for freedom of speech and respecting people’s opinions but every now and then someone says something so ludicrously stupid……..How has Paul McCartney ever sold a record? Are you for real? He was in a band called The Beetles, you know.
I thought he was in The Beatles !!
You don’t say, whoosh!
Learn to fuckin spell it then !! Its Beatles not Beetles !! WHOOSH !!
Dear, oh dear. Now pay attention…I put ‘The Beetles’ in some sort of naff, obviously ill-conceived, though deserved, nod towards the crassness of the original post but it seems to have fallen on stony ground.

Oh and push the last letter of your sentences up to your exclaimation marks! ;)
Just goes to show the ambiguity of posting on a forum, after all how was I supposed to know you were being clever ! By the way my exclamation marks a space away from my last letter are my trademark !

Well the surgery and cosmetics is doing a lot better for her than it has for other celebrities. Like a fine wine, she seems to get better with age. However, given the choice (as if that would ever happen), Danni is clearly dirtier!

In future, when searching for Kylie’s arse on Google images, I really must ensure that safe search has been put on.

Strange how this topic has strayed from one about a concert for the Queen…

As I was actually on the Mall in front of Buckingham Palace watching (albeit at a bit of a distance, but not as far away as I was when watching U2 at Round Hey), I can say that it was a superb atmosphere and the thoughts were the same regarding the artists.

Thought Robbie’s first bit was nervy but the concert only really got going after his second stint. Kylie, Shirley, Tom, Alfie and Madness went don’t down a storm.

Funniest moment was when Lang Lang was hyped up to hell before mentioning his name and when he was announced almost everybody around me said “who the f*** is Lang Lang” and he didn’t live up to his building up.

All in all it was great night without getting ripped off with beer prices of being hassled by police (it certainly makes a change to what they are like at the football). In fact it has been a great week.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that
