Magennis is through, dinking and dancing with Nzogbia in his mind is last man. Fearlessly Richards is out of the goal, dives at his feet like a starving cheetah; what a save.

Solid vital win borne more out of sheer character and desire than actual performance on the night against a desperate team with nothing to play for other than their own pride.
They played out of their skin as best they could after picking up very early on that the ref was card ‘miserable’ rather than card ‘happy ‘ so the game never flowed due to all the stoppages and scrappy play.
James Mclean was easily the man of the match and his character and desire drove us on to the win which gives a fantastic 5 point cushion now going into the game on Friday.
Win there and it could be 8 points clear on saturday morning so a massive incentive for us to go over there in our favoured mode as underdogs for the win.I personally think we can sneak it there. They’ve done well but certainly rode their luck in last 2 or3 games. Has anyone any idea what punishments if any they’ve been handed for their 3 recent spectator misdemeanours ? Particularly the most recent where the knob kicked the ball away.
