Can’t believe how many are in cuckoo land and believe this is any better. People getting excited because we play a pass on the floor instead of in the air.
It’s shit and very soon we will be adrift in the relegation zone.
We will get what we deserve for the sacking of Leam.
26 December 2022 at 5:13 pm #197693Have to wait to see what we can get in the window. On todays performance I’m hoping the owners have promised Toure 8 players cos that’s what we will need to have a hope. Darikwa on, Shinnie on for Broadhead when behind.I for one haven’t seen anything in Nyambe to raise hopes of being an improvement on Darikwa. Tilt ,Power both not looking like this league for them. Just let’s hope we raise our game against Sunderland or the Window and the gelling time required may make next 4 months extremely difficult.
26 December 2022 at 5:37 pm #197694We were expecting him to adopt the Martinez style, well it’s certainly getting the same results.
26 December 2022 at 6:24 pm #197695Squad not good enough. Doesn’t matter who the manager is.

You are right ,Leam Richardson was badly let down in the summer and we are paying the price. Let’s see what happens in the January window. It’s not too late to turn things around but we need proper investment in the squad not just a few loan signings and free transfers.
27 December 2022 at 6:07 am #197703Buck now stops with the ownership and whether they are prepared to invest in the club.
They have had a remarkable period of success borne out of very little but the problems now are squarely out on the pitch not on the sidelines and that game yeaterdaysaid it all for me.
Didn’t see anything whatsoever that resembled improvement and in many respects they look worse than before the break.
Outclassed by a very ordinary and average Middlesborough team is very tough to take.
The team should have been strengthened properly last summer and the lack of investment back then is plain to see now.
Not the managers fault he can only work with what he has.
Over to the ownership now big time , honeymoon period and back slapping is well and truly over and the next month will tell us how serious they really are.27 December 2022 at 11:28 am #197708We’ve defensive issues with injuries. I would have preferred puting Nyambi in at centre half as he was constantly getting done. He played that roll a good few times for Blackburn.
McClean for me is done, Wyke injury prone but overall at least were thinking forward. I’m not been funny but we’ve just played 2 of the biggest clubs and squads in the league.
The manager needs time and backing in the window. It was good to see Hughes given a chance and Scully.Im shocked at some people think Kolo can magically turn this team into a winning side in a few weeks, you need a head wobble session.
He needs a minimum of 3 transfer windows to sort this mish mash squad out then we can judge him not a fcukin few weeks27 December 2022 at 2:17 pm #197710Cuckoo

29 December 2022 at 10:31 pm #197723Shocking again tonight and it’s getting worse.
29 December 2022 at 11:00 pm #197727Wasn’t impressed with KT’s impact substitutions to replace Thelo & Calum; afterwhich we lost any manner of threat in the game.
29 December 2022 at 11:17 pm #197729We are getting exactly what we deserve.
I’d like to think Leam is sat at home pissing himself at what’s going on but I know he’s far too classy a guy to react that way.
We are a laughing stock. Talal and Mal should hang their heads in shame.

Can’t argue with that. The problem was never the manager but the lack of investment he was given in the summer. When we came out of administration we got proven Division 1 performers who could deliver promotion and that’s exactly what they did. You would have thought having got promotion to the Championship we would go after at least two or three proven Championship performers but for whatever reason it never happened. Maybe we got promoted too quickly I don’t know , but now we are in a hell of a mess and I really don’t know how we are going to get out of it.
30 December 2022 at 9:06 am #197732You overpaid in wages last year to attract the likes of Wyke, Jones etc, and whilst they were good enough at the time for L1, they were never going to be Championship quality a year later. If you want a scapegoat, then I suggest you look at whoever was splashing the cash and acting all billy big bollocks instead of quietly rebuilding from the foundations upwards after admin.
Good luck for the rest of the season. Its going to be bloody tough with that group, but at least most of them will be out of contract come June and then your owner can try rebuilding a squad properly.
