He won the corner that led to he goal, infact it should have been a pen.
He also was the one who got done by zabaletta that led to him being sent off. If that’s not noteworthy contribution I don’t know what is.From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!11 January 2018 at 10:33 pm #164963He won the corner that led to he goal, infact it should have been a pen.
He also was the one who got done by zabaletta that led to him being sent off. If that’s not noteworthy contribution I don’t know what is.I think it was Callum who was felled by Zabaletta for his initial booking too.
I thought he looked dangerous all the time and it was just a bit of inexperience and over exuberrance at times that frustrated some players and fans.
I’d have him back tomorrow to replace Toney.11 January 2018 at 10:35 pm #164965I’d have Jorg Smeets back to replace Toney.
Even Jeff Peron and Leigh Jenkinson would be pushing for a game.

If he scored with one of his chances 1st half then we would have probably got stuffed TBH.
11 January 2018 at 11:24 pm #164969”Ultimately though, it was the cost that ruled. Which to this day, and always, will leave a bitter taste in my mouth.(Wembley £10 reduction for concessions on ticket prices being scandalous)”The ticket prices weren’t the only thing that was a rip off either – so were the food & drink.
I can’t remember the exact prices but at the semi-final you got a pint for (this is a guess) £6 (in itself a rip off). For the final you had to pay more for a smaller serving – my head ruled my heart & I didn’t get anyWe went in that nightclub they opened up across the road, the crystal, I think it was called. £4 for lukewarm beer out of a can.
Inside Wembley, I think it was £8 for a hot dog and a coke combo.

Not much different to getting food at any leisure outlet, have you ever bought a snack and a drink at the Cinema??
12 January 2018 at 2:17 am #164973would happily pay it all again even if a pie was £20!

12 January 2018 at 5:39 pm #164990That nightclub was shite
13 January 2018 at 1:43 am #165009That nightclub was shiteYes. But busy.
16 January 2018 at 2:02 pm #165111The cost of most food and drink inside grounds at these things (down south anyway) is abhorrent nowadays. And all the beer is weak. It’s a bloody joke, and I don’t even drink anymore.
When we got to the final we were allocated something in the region of 15k tickets. So were Liverpool. The other 60 PER CENT of the Millennium Stadium’s tickets went to other clubs and VIPs and so on, and some who’d been to every game on the journey there couldn’t get a ticket. The whole thing stinks, to know there were some in that ground that day – quite a lot, in fact – who were just there because a spare was floating about.
But I digress…
Some really nice comments on here, thank you, and proper puts a smile on my face reading you all talking about the day, it’s terrific stuff.
Hopefully we’ll put Shrewsbury to bed/down tonight, and fingers crossed you guys can turn Bournemouth over tomorrow (ideally injuring Callum the cheat at the same time…) and we’ll meet you in the next round.
Oh, and fuck Jeff Stelling.
18 January 2018 at 12:27 pm #165176Well according to some guy on BBC we don’t care about our club as we chose the FA Cup above PL survival.
Probably one of the Arsenal muppets who celebrated 4th place every year.
