Every time we have a credible buyer looking at us Darren Royle re-appears with yet another consortium giving it the maximum publicity.He had the perfect opportunity with Ray Ranson when the Spanish pulled out yet nothing happened.It’s almost as if he is trying to put off any prospective buyers without really having a viable alternative himself.You have to ask the question why?

He may have known what was going on, but powerless to stop it.
That’s the important aspect….they were powerless to stop it. You only have to look at Companies House to see what happened.

I am not disputing he was powerless to do anything but don’t forget he was the one who introduced the Chinese to Dave Whelan in the first place with his Far East connections.My point is why does he keep coming up with these counter offers when it looks like a deal is nearly over the line ? particularly when he does not seem able to come up with the necessary funds himself.
