Well, with just one game to go another season is drawing to a close.
The last third of the season has been as good as the first two thirds were bad.
The Euros will while a way a month of the close season, two weeks in St Ives will get rid of a bit more, then it will all start all over again. I for one can’t wait???
Anyway for those in the know there are a few things I’d like to know before we hibernate for a couple of months.
1. When are the fixtures out?
2. When are season ticket prices released?
3. Will the new kit be launched before the season starts this time?
4. Is anybody else glad its nearly all over for a month or two?

Personally I enjoy the summer break, the hope expectation, Newsnow trawling, the one time of the year you can brag about being in the prem, first summer signing etc etc

1. Fixtures are usually out around 15th June, or nearest Thursday thereof.
2. Usually about an hour before there’s a stinking row in the Griffin household about renewing it

Griff,
My wife used to be a mobile hairdresser so working on Saturdays usually meant mornings, with the odd afternoon.
She never stopped me going to Football, but there were always the odd moan here and there with the usual ‘football always comes first comment’.
After about 5 years she decided she wanted to get a salon. Needless to say, I encouraged her totally.
She initially thought I was being the dutyfull supportive hubby, until she realised my motives.
I love my wife, but I love the freedom of Saturdays to go to the match exactly when I want with no shopping first and all that bollox.
Sunday matches used to be a pain though, but she realises now after 30 years that football comes first.
I know you have young children too, but don’t ever wish your time away while they’re young because you can never get those really special times back, but as we all get older, there are benefits.
