Its like a pack of cards collapsing, no faith from supporters , who will trust this lot now ??
Its not just wages for players its the bigger issues of payments to creditors, running costs, transfers, ground costs etc and the points deductions is irrelevant at the moment because i seriously think we are done.
My gut feeling says we wont have a club next season, asset strip on the way i think , ground sale to the fatties and players flogged for peanuts , it is Bury Fc all over again unless a savour rolls in from somewhere and bloody quick!!!
      Bad fooking times

The underlying problem is this current huge monthly wagebill combined with looking after the stadium. If we can get through to July and come out the other side in one piece we stand half a chance of carrying on that’s when the clubs cleaned out alot of its big earners, only then can we start planning ahead.
I’m trying to find something positive out this madness but I’m slowly finding it harder to think positive thoughts in light of all what’s going on but to be honest we’ve no choice we have to do.

As long as our owners decide to keep information regarding “OUR” club to themselves as to what the current situation is then they are going to come under attack from every flank from our supporters.

No news is good news well normally that’s the case but in our case is probably the worse thing that can happen. The uncertainty is brewing up a fan storm of dislike towards our current owners.

I’m not sure how they’ll ever repair this mess and if they were to carry on?, I can honestly say for alot of people that the bridges have been burned, blown up, then landminded just to make sure no one repairs what’s broken

When all said they are nothing more than custodians. When they’ve long gone back to their italian marble clad mansions we’ll still be here so let’s us never forget, this club belongs to Wigan Athletic fans.
We haven’t built this club up since joining the League to let a bunch of football club joy riders destroy it in 2 years not on our watch you won’t so cough up or get the F out

Said before I’ve absolutely no confidence that we’ll be anything other than a train wreck club as long as we have this owner . Failed promises after promises. Yes the money situation is worrying but the total disregard for everyone connected with our club is f###### sinister perpetuated by the complete vacuum of communication. I agree no news is generally good news but these in charge are the blinding exception to that rule. I m o Al Jasmi has no interest in bank rolling us any more and Talall who has been the public face has every toe and finger plugging the ever increasing holes in the ships hull and unless that white Knight arrives to save the day then shipwrecked is what we will inevitably become. That brilliant day in Shrewsbury now seems like a dream ……would anyone of us have believed the nightmare that was to follow? How can one club have 2 totally distrustful owners in succession?…..Without a thread of information available then we are left to rely on social media, news outlets for updates……what a sad,sad situation we find ourselves in…..

I think Jasmi and Talal have been stupid nieve, led astray, mugged and screwed by a poor CEO putting all their faith in a so called expert in his field, “so called” been the operative word.

If they were going to suddenly bend us over they would have done well sooner probably months ago.
For me Jasmi along with Talal made some humongous and costly mistakes. Firstly, giving that idiot “Cheque book Charlie” Mr Brannigan the reigns who inturn proceeded to fill the club with 30+, average players on stupid wages in L1 while he earned reputedly £250k for making a pigs ear of it all and no doubt the odd agent envelope coming his way.

Then throw in the millions we lost in two full length managerial pay-offs, not just them a crew of backroom staff now that must have hurt us in the pocket.

I lost count how many players we had on £10k. Now Championship figures banded around last season said we had one of the lowest wages bills in the League.
I think that’s because some big clubs had £20k £30k £40k players but I bet there wasn’t many who has as many on £10k+ on their books.

For us paying out wages like that straight after adminstration was a recipe for disaster. Remember when Jasmi and Talal first came to the club they made it clear to us fans that they weren’t here to blindly throw money at the club and not one fan blinked an eye simply because we were all just glad to still be alive and they had saved us for dissapearing.

The problem then was they did the exact polar opposite they said they would do led by Mr Brannigan who ill advised them both on how to stabilise and move the club forward he’s way was spend like fcuk think later.

This huge overspend in L1 left Richardson no budget at all and the downhill snowball affect progressed throughout the Championship season at an alarming rate of knots gathering pace on its journey and debt till we club crashed by hitting rock bottom and into L1 we went.

Yes our owners are quite right now, yes they have missed paying wages but no one has never got paid, are they lying ? no doubt sometimes but as I pointed out before if they wanted out this club they could have easily gone months ago but they chose not to.

We have to hope they stay for now and hope they get it right at some point so we can put all this mess behind us.

I’m more fightened about what would happen if they left right now without a buyer in place than I am about starting next year 8 points down.

Again, I’m not siding with them I’m looking at both sides of were we would be and as it stands right were alive and kicking.

While that’s the case let’s hope we can get to July and judge them from then on when the vast majority of the 30+ age high earning footballers have left the pay roll,
            Always remember,

            better the devil you know,
