wrong we have given away 3 points due to managerial tactics, who doesnt like to go forward, and for taking 10 mins to bring on a sub, well i just shake my head
I was on here last week saying how Martinez made the right decisions with subs against Sunderland.
1 week later…… SHOCKING!
On a wet and slippy pitch even the most mentally challenged can see that you get the ball low and hard into the opponent’s area, particularly if you can make them turn, and take your chances from there.
And what do we do? Play tipi-tapi from the back (and at corners) putting ourselves under pressure. Did we have a shot on target??
There are times when “hoof” is the right game to play. Today was such a day.
The crying shame is that it’s clear that we have some decent players who are lost playing in a formation and style that is devoid of tempo and attacking threat.
Can Martinez not see that we are totally static and unable to move forward as a team with any pace or link up play? Its truly crap to watch. We will never progress with Thomas deployed as a static hermit crab slowing us to a crawl, rodallega lost on the left and whichever striker we have isolated and living off crumbs..
And today’s substitution debacle was pitiful… Moses spent 11 minutes waiting to come on!!!! Watson on????? Joke….
