So a win by 2 clear goals on Monday night will see us on the exact same points and goal difference as last season after 8 games and so the question must be raised, is Rosler any better than Coyle? Anything less than a win on Monday would surely bring into question the appointment of the German would it not? With 3 tough games to follow Monday’s game there is a chance that we could have some alarm bells ringing upstairs come the end of October! As of yet we have not moved forward since Coyle was sacked, yeah we got into the play-offs but that turned out to be a big anti climax and so with many excuses being made thus far as to our ropey start to the season are there any other fans like myself who think that perhaps Rosler is not the man for the job? A win on Monday followed by 6 pts from the next possible 9 would lift my spirits but for now………. :S
20 September 2014 at 5:24 pm #133530I’ll take that as a tongue in cheek post Fil.
From Matlock to ManU
What a journey!20 September 2014 at 5:32 pm #133532Why is it tongue in cheek? It is a concern for me that we are no better than this time last year!
20 September 2014 at 6:07 pm #133533Why is it tongue in cheek? It is a concern for me that we are no better than this time last year!I’m not concerned, as we have more than done enough to win each game. :cheer:
As for being no better than last year, compare the same fixtures [obviously can’t count cardiff] and we are 3 points better off. B)
If you want to count one of the games against a relegated team we played last year then it would be QPR and we lost that away.
Calm yourself down, enjoy the free weekend and start worrying if we are languishing in 16th place after about 15 games.

21 September 2014 at 9:13 pm #133536I like the way he’s put his squad together but I’m afraid he can’t see what his best team is and playing how he does I don’t think we ever will.
I’d still take him over coyle but that’s hardly saying anything.
Comment noted by garswood latic, who amongst others,
was sticking up for coyle when appointed on my anyone but coyle thread. Not that I’m calling for rosslers head.
22 September 2014 at 10:29 am #133541So what is going on this season? Maloney doesn’t start,Barnett doesn’t get a look in,Espinosa? Is he injured? Fitness???? Fast flowing attacking football! Strikers with no support or service. Swapping and changing both team and tactics. Yes thinking about it there has been some massive improvements this season.

Correct. Things are certainly not good enough at the moment (for the Champions League spot that we all know the club should be battling for) but the shite that some poeple spout on here simply beggars belief.
22 September 2014 at 3:48 pm #133545Déjà vu ?, Haven’t I read this before ?

23 September 2014 at 2:31 am #133557Brace yourself people filmoss and donny are going to be fuming now … And rightly so
23 September 2014 at 2:41 am #133560Not too worried really. Just come to expect the change of team and tactics and the inevitable result from those changes and tactics.
23 September 2014 at 3:15 am #133561I am just concerned that Rosler doesn’t appear to have a plan A let alone a plan B ! Tonight’s game was woeful and even with a half decent ref I don’t think things would have been much different! 3 tough games coming up and so if Rosler doesn’t start coming up with a game plan we are going to be sucked into the relegation zone! Can’t see us hammering Bournemouth 4-0 on Saturday, can you?
