Apparently Arsenal may look to sign Diame from Wet Spam…
Madness….

Not madness.. Was one of the better players we have had, stupidly didn’t play him during the back end of our last season and seemingly didn’t make an effort to keep hold of him.
His style of play suits Aresenal and since he first joined us I had a feeling he would end up there. B)
Edit: I meant in his last season for us.

Why stupidly? We were winning games with McArthur in instead of Diame, so why change a winning team? And the only effort we needed to make to keep him was to offer him £45k a week, which we weren’t prepared/couldn’t afford to do.

Doesn’t surprise me at all. I was wondering how long it would take Fat Sam to work Diame out. I think Diame flatters to deceive, he can’t last 90 mins and for a 6 footer WON’T head the ball. I thought it funny when we had a corner he was sent back to defend on the half way line. So what took RM a couple of seasons to suss out it would seem Fat Sam has worked out in a quarter of that time. Oh and before I forget, we didn’t do too badly without Diame in the side did we? I suspect Sam is actively looking to get shut, QPR were linked a couple of weeks ago.

Doubt he’s pushing him out of the door. He’s been West Ham’s best player this season.29 January 2013 at 10:55 pm #101593What do you base this on? Appearances? Goals? I would’ve thought Sam would prefer his best player on the pitch, not either substitute or substituted.

Diame later took part in a full training session but West Ham are struggling to hold on to one of their best players.

We’ve had no bids from any of the clubs that have been rumoured in the papers. He’s our player and hopefully come 1 February he will still be our player. (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/21182797?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter)PS. He was on the bench because he’s been injured. He’s played 18 games and scored 2 goals thus far.

He’s as good as me on the bench, but none of that suggests he is their BEST player. Sorry for criticising RM, I realise you are sensitive to this from the research you put into your reply.

No. I’m just sensitive to people talking nonsense.30 January 2013 at 1:46 am #101629Stan, you ARE sensitive, trust me.
30 January 2013 at 1:48 am #101631I was upset when we lost him as I thought he offered us something different to the other CM’s at the club.
I didn’t expect him to go on and do so well for West Ham though I must admit.
30 January 2013 at 2:22 am #101658Stan, you ARE sensitive, trust me.As I said, yes I am sensitive when people talk nonsense. When this happens, I’ll show them they’re talking nonsense.
Good bit of editing on your post incidentally – a minute after I’d already responded to you.
And ‘research’? It’s called Google and took me around a minute to come up with five quotes.
30 January 2013 at 11:09 am #101696Standish, you are repeating yourself now, so I will repeat myself. I am sorry for criticising your idol. I just don’t know how you can come out with a bold statement like you did, unless you watch all the games… I could call that talking nonesense. You really do remind me of the ex wife, you are not female by any chance? I haven’t read your profile. As for the edit, whats your point?

As for the edit, whats your point?Yes, I am repeating myself because you obviously have Martinez issues and assume my response is in defence of my ‘idol’.
It isn’t; it’s in response to you spouting nonsense that Sam Allardyce is pushing Diame out of the club because he’s discovered the player isn’t up to much.
So, I’ll repeat it for a third time: I’m sensitive to people talking nonsense, and your statement…
‘I was wondering how long it would take Fat Sam to work Diame out…I suspect Sam is actively looking to get shut’
…is nonsense.
You’re right, my ‘extensive’ research doesn’t contain a line which states ‘Diame is West Ham’s best player’. Maybe if I Googled, sorry, I mean conducted some more research I might find one.
Whatever, they all allude to a player who has been on the bench because he’s been injured, meaning your line…
‘ I would’ve thought Sam would prefer his best player on the pitch, not either substitute or substituted’
…is again nonsense, and a player, rather than being someone they ‘want to get shut’ of, is regarded as…
‘one of their best players’, ‘in outstanding form before his injury’ whose leaving would have a ‘ drastic effect on the team’ and who lead Sam Allardyce to quote:
‘He’s our player and hopefully come 1 February he will still be our player’
If you want to think of me as female and your ex-wife, and if it really makes you feel better, please do so. I won’t be offended.
