Must be bad if Mal & Shaun can’t spill the beans by now
Silence is absolutely deafening.
The longer it takes, the deeper the mire that we are in.23 March 2023 at 2:56 pm #199009Hear a pin drop at the Efl too. Reading failed to adhere to the business plan(as of yet no points deducted). Huddersfield, Burnley submitted accounts late( no points deducted instead pointless transfer embargo). Sheffield failing to pay agreed installments on players purchased(no action taken, clearly gaining an advantage by playing players they can’t afford)….Wigan….F### me …..dragged outside and lynched with immediate effect .Efl tosspots showing their usual inconsistencies!!!!!
23 March 2023 at 3:33 pm #199010Never understand this clamour for information. They’ll update us when there’s something to update us on.
23 March 2023 at 4:55 pm #199011Updates from our owners ? Or the Efl ?…Strewth !! a f####### update from our owners should be immediate….I mean they are the ones trying to get us to purchase season tickets!!! Not on your Nelly am I putting one more penny in until I’m convinced they have a sustainable business plan. Update ??…..They’ve potentially pushed our club to the edge of the abyss…..but hey….they’ll update us when they can cobble together another statement full of hollow promises. How’s about something like actually fulfilling their contractual obligations like paying the staff who they employ. Let’s see the colour of their money ,like in the non existant fund the Efl stipulated ……costing us potential further points removed next season. People need to stop bending over blind folded whilst they rubber sausage us. 4 TIMES they failed to pay wages….4 wafer thin excuses …….but let’s all give them our cash ,forgive, forget …..and hope they don’t fail us again. Someone on another forum compared it to women in an abusive relationship….they continue to accept the abusers “I’m sorry,I won’t do it again, I’ll change,I love you “……But they continue to abuse..again,and again. Everyone I go with is passed off with their information drip feed…..not now but all season. So yes most of us who give a shit want the owners to man up,face the music and give us the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth……Now !!!
23 March 2023 at 4:57 pm #199012It’s been nearly a week and still the players have not been paid. No excuses like, bank was closed in Bahrain or it was one of the Kardashian’s birthday Friday, sorry.
If you don’t have it you don’t have it, simples. It’s loud and clear that our owners don’t have a pot to p1ss in or they’d dip into a kitty and sort this mess out “before” the EFL got their 3pt nails in.
And they want season ticket money early? Now that’s a classic
23 March 2023 at 4:59 pm #199014Soon be 5pm
23 March 2023 at 5:07 pm #199015Next wage due soon. Pretty certain failing again means players trigger breach of contract and can walk free. So relegation, and facing Qpr,Sheffield with completely knobbed off players……if we’ve still got some, but no problem we’ll just scratch our nut sacks in anticipation at the owners latest Enid Blyton statement. Talall should be here yesterday…….not at his earliest convenience. The Efl don’t hang around as far as Wigan are concerned. Axe being sharpened as I type.

Sorry Adam but I don’t agree.
Surely Mal & Shaun have safely returned home by now, and must have a judgement how the situation is playing out.
So if it was good news, like we’ve seen the plan and believe us it is going to give us nothing to worry about, they would be giving the supporters a big smile with a nod & wink.
Silence only deepens the mystery and usually means there is something to cover up and we are not going to like it.You need to face facts and be realistic and put those rose tinted specs back in the cupboard.
23 March 2023 at 5:14 pm #199017Ramadan could be holding thing up
23 March 2023 at 5:24 pm #199018Indie Latics have launched Phase 2…
Not sure whether it will do any good, but collectively we will not stand idly by and watch our club die by a thousand cuts.
Going nicely on #WAFC. Make the Board listen and take note. Keep the Faith!
23 March 2023 at 6:19 pm #199022“No news is good news” is normally the case but not in ours it’s quite the opposite, it simply means nothings been paid.
I’m not sure how long and when before administration steps in without been requested by the owner but a couple off months of wages might be the trigger factor for that.
There’s a simple solution
Pay the fcukin bills, there’s no other way out this hole. Until they do and time drags on the hole will get deeper and deeper.23 March 2023 at 8:40 pm #199026Like it or not but football is a business. It’s no longer like Winstanley Warriors or Ashton Athletic, it’s a business.
As a business they have no obligation to tell us anything. Asda won’t phone me up when people are off sick or they’re out of stock of something. HR issues such as not paying wages doesn’t get discussed on Twitter.
People always say that without fans there’s no club but that isn’t true as COVID showed. TV deals nowadays will keep football going. Perhaps not at lower levels as much, but I suspect that ticket sales are not the highest earner for the majority of clubs.
Of course I want to know the goings on but I’m also fully aware that we will only get told what the club want to tell us and when they want to tell us. The players I expect will have been updated every step of the way.
The problem we have is every Tom Dick and Harry on social media making up stories (usually under fake names) and doing internet searches to put 2 and 2 together to make 12.
23 March 2023 at 8:43 pm #199027Fans want to be as close to their club as possible and I get that and especially when you were once a club as small as we were, but sadly in 2023 that just doesn’t happen.
23 March 2023 at 9:10 pm #199028Fake News: me, Horc & Donny,s Page are buying the club !
