True Martin but a more worrying fact is that only 12% of teachers in primary schools are men.Is it now time to block applications for teaching posts in primary schools from women in this rewarding and well paid proffesion?

We have just had a Member of Parliament (who happened to be Labour ffs) taking the piss out of someone for flying the flag of their country from their own home.

Anyway the MP in question has been forced to resign from her post over the issue so the Labour part wasn’t excusing it at all.

She forgot she was a politician and said what she thought rather than engaging her brain before opening her mouth, in much the same way Whelan did.
So would Blair and Brown.
Very few Labour politicians in the traditional sense are left now, Dennis Skinner is one, and the biggest obstacle to Labour being return to power in the next election is Miliband himself.And here Donny you’ll see that, as far back as 2008, councils were enforcing positive discrimination in favour of men to redress the imbalance in primary schools.
