I was at Wembley, and I was at the match yesterday.
I don’t feel “disrespected” that some who were at Wembley weren’t there yesterday.

A decent enough gate but when you consider that their current league average is 41,000 that’s 20,000 missing fans.

I was watching the draw with my eldest lad and both of us were getting wound up that there was no mention of the current cup holders. :angry:
Our number didn’t appear on the “numbers to look out for” screen, until about half way through the draw. Having said that, Man U’s number came on the screen well after us, so that made me feel a bit better.
I personally hope we can progress in this competition. We know better than anyone that it’s winnable if you play well, things go your way and you get that bit of luck.
It will be a tough, tough game away at the Dons, but so was Bournemouth, Macclesfield and Everton last season. :cheer:

Come on mutty. You throw these comments in then dont respond. Wigan rugby have taken 30k to Wembley before now yet have had 4k on for cup games. Sunderland lost 21k fans today. What makes us such a disgrace?

The Geordies at home to Cardiff performed similarly well (crowd 20k down on usual, I think). Not forgetting, of course, Cardiff are also Premiership.
The fact he’s not responding is probably because, as one put it, he’s (still) busy doing the latter … tugging himself silly.
