On Tuesday night near the end when Swansea got a corner and the keeper went up what happened after the corner was just bloody typical of half our fans not actually understanding football.
The ball went out of play and there were fans screaming for Ali to run and get the ball and take the goal kick straight away. Instead he just strolled and took up over a minute of the game. So instead of taking the kick quick when we werent even set up for it he wasted time to run the clock down. (only downside to it all was Di Santo miscontrolled it and the ball went out of play)A similar thing happened against in Hull in the FA Cup last season when we were knocking the ball around just outside of their area.
I just had to get it of my chest…
One mon at side of me said we should have been 4-0 up at half time :shock: :roll: :roll: :roll:
I admit to being one of the people who tried to hurry Ali to take the goal kick.
This was because the Swansea keeper was ‘lightly jogging’ out of our penalty area.
If we would of scored like that, without their goalie in the net – it would of been good ;)
