Seeing as you deplore the way football has gone that much then may I ask as to why you are lurking around a ” Football ” forum ? Might I suggest you try the rugby ! :oops:
I provide an alternative viewpoint which enhances the forum somewhat with an opposite opinion not having been to a match in four years.
Not a WAFC problem I’m afraid, it’s a football one. People like you continue to fund millionaire lifestyles just so you can say your a “fan”. I’d rather keep my money in my pocket.

Maybe Whelan needs to stop sacking managers and let someone build a legacy at the club, then you will see a more stable club.
Barrow – sacked in 1995
Deehan – left in 1998
Mathias – sacked in 1999
Benson – Moved upstairs in 2000
Rioch – sacked in 2001
Bruce – left in 2001
Jewell – left in 2007
Hutchings – sacked in 2007
Bruce – left in 2009

The fact remains that we had our best success ever when we had stability under PJ. Sacked/resigned almost the same thing these days isnt it?
More importantly, since we have been in the Prem, 6 seasons, 4 managers (and maybe more) hardly a platform for stability !

so what if he did?. he started coming on with me who as been watching the club since 82. perhaps people were calling me a jcl when i started watching them?. why don’t you go back to your mates on a certain forum who laugh at disabled people?. i think what you are is in your name. pr1ck

Well entitled to that opinion and is echoed amongst many fans. i haven’t had a season ticket for 3 seasons for many of those reasons. To me it boils down to not getting value for money. Why should i give Dave Whelan my hard earned money when he gives nothing back to us. By saying that i mean by actually challenging even the bottom half of the Stoke’s and Blackburn’s of this world rather than just hoping to avoid relegation with crap signings and selling the best players all the time and announcing that he will actually do it as soon as he get’s the offer he wants. The club is a joke and is ran by amateurs. There is no way i will ever pay to watch a game again until im satisfied that my money is not wasted.

I personally know two people in very senior positions in this club and they could never be described as amateurish at all.

If you came on here more often O Toole ( very original user name I am thinking university mindset ! ) You would know that I make no secret of how long I have been watching WAFC.I have mentioned on numerous occasions when I started to watch WAFC and yes it was in the Championship so if 7 years is a JCL to you clever boy then I would suspect you are a ” Goole away ” merchant who really does need to move into the now ! As for watching or not watching football then that comes down to ones own respective prerogatives but if you choose to abstain then you shouldnt try and preach to those who choose otherwise ! As for clever boy, why dont you go back to the ” inner sanctum ” and play with the other clever boys ! :?

exactly.The club has better staff than quite a few Prem clubs hands down and that’s without going into the coaching staff :?

I have been to Goole town twice. I’ve never watched a game of football there though. Am a true fan, and can I claim my five pounds?
