13 November 2016 at 10:48 pm #152415Cameron and his band of performing idiots never mislead anyone did they?. Remain was meant to be the referendum result and would have been had the MAJORITY not seen through the lies and scaremongering tactics used by senior prominent politicians who should have known better. Sammy, we are leaving the EU not because of what leave campaign did but because of what remain didn’t.The blame lies solely with Cameron and his failure to lead the electorate with proper genuine reasons why we should stay. Instead he got caught up and joined in all the mudslinging and lying and the minute he did that the people were always going to rebel. He gambled and lost where other Prime Ministers before him would have handled it much better and won. Sammy, surely you see that.
You are spot on there Nuneaton, if the remainers had spent more time telling us of the positives and the changes they would ensure would happen if we were to remain within the EU instead of getting embroiled in scaremongery and slagging off any positives the leavers said, then it might have been different.
I feel that I was being more mis-led and let down with the remains strategy than anything the leave campaign said. I was definitely swayed more by the failure of the remainers to convince me than anything the leavers had to say.15 November 2016 at 6:34 pm #15244616 May 2016
“Nigel Farage warns today he would fight for a second referendum on Britain in Europe if the remain campaign won by a narrow margin next month.
The Ukip leader said a small defeat for his leave camp would be “unfinished business” and predicted pressure would grow for a re-run of the 23 June ballot.
Farage told the Mirror: “In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.””
It ended 52-48, didn’t it?
15 November 2016 at 6:42 pm #152447Not sure of the score, but leave the EU won just as Donald did so that’s the will of the people.
If people don’t want to be on the wrong side of a democratic vote then move to North Korea.

Is that why Trump supporters go round with Confederate Flags? Because they have got over losing? ;)
I could also point out that Clinton got more votes than Trump, so the will of the people was that she should win.
15 November 2016 at 9:48 pm #152453I could also point out that Clinton got more votes than Trump, so the will of the people was that she should win.And as I pointed out on facebook, that isn’t how the election works there in the same way that it isn’t how it works here either.
I always enjoy social media after an election. The losing side are always the ones in the right whilst the winning side are a bunch of complete idiots/racists. Makes for great entertainment for the WUMs amongst us.
16 November 2016 at 3:04 pm #152459Here’s why Trump won …………..
16 November 2016 at 4:51 pm #152463I think that just about sums it up why Trump, Brexit and the Tories prevail.
Left wingers hang your heads in shame, if it all goes tits up, it is all your fault.16 November 2016 at 11:22 pm #152465I think that just about sums it up why Trump, Brexit and the Tories prevail.
Left wingers hang your heads in shame, if it all goes tits up, it is all your fault. In a nutshell yes, that is the reason! ;)

6 December 2016 at 7:35 pm #152868It amazes me why people spout so much venom at the multi billionaire Trump, when in reality they know nothing about him; other than the 10 mins of media drivel they have seen on TV. But hey, people are like that; too quick to judge instead of taking time to reach a fair and reasonable opinion.Fair play. Most reasonable comment yet.
25 May 2017 at 1:33 pm #159326In light of the Manchester attack maybe Trump had a point with regards to his extreme vetting travel ban from 7 mainly Islamic countries, one of which was Libya.

And how would that have prevented someone who was born and raised in this country?[/quote]
Because anybody traveling back from one of those countries would have to go through extreme vetting, questions would of been asked “what were you doing in Libya?” “why did you visit Syria?” “how have you funded your trip”.
Or we can carry on allowing someone with extremist views back into the UK after visiting a failed state without having to explain themselves!
25 May 2017 at 4:35 pm #159335How do you stop A UK CITIZEN from entering THE UK?
