It was only one point dropped. We set up and went for one but lost and dropped the one.
If anyone on here has any contacts at the club is there any chance they could nip round and remind the management that there are actually three points to play for in a game.11 February 2017 at 9:20 pm #155199Yeah wer only dropping a league don’t matter really lol.

11 February 2017 at 10:02 pm #155207Totally understand what you mean Runcorn. There are plenty games to go at and we have many winnable games. My worry is we have given some very average sides too much respect when if we had really got at them and tested them we could have had far more points. We still can but we are going to have to attack sides like we did Burton and Brentford and get some wins.
Grigg and Bogle should start every week even if one of them plays of the other. Obertan needs to be playing replacing Yanic. Who do we drop from midfield to do this? Probably Power and Jacobs who have underperformed all season.11 February 2017 at 10:37 pm #155213Look on the bright side we get relegated._.Bogle sold to leeds 7m win more games at home._whelans sell up f@ck of barbados._.Will grigg on fire ._.Happy days ._.Only downside we need a 10,000 stadium._.Come on better days ahead
12 February 2017 at 12:01 pm #155234Can’t believe it when some folk state that we have a series of winnable games coming up !!!!…Come on ..really,and who would that be against then ?….Signing players who are weeks away from fitness is laughable….reverting back to negative set up..laughable…..our central defenders and static midfield..laughable!..2 from 3 to drop and I for 1 think Rovers will survive. Let’s be honest the managerial appointment has so far been a disaster…our transfer activities in January gave me some hope but not if he still obbsessed with his non offensive set up.Burn,Buxton,Power,Jacobs,Perkins continue to start…..so we will continue to struggle. No point changing manager now even though it has crossed my mind that could we do any worse if we did ????

12 February 2017 at 1:08 pm #155237Looking at the fixtures, our 8 remaining fixtures do not look the most difficult – Preston, Forest, Bristol, Villa, Rotherham, Barnsley, Cardiff & Leeds, and I’d like to think that we could amass at least 16 points from those games.
Then I remember that we’ve won 1 home game in the league since September, and 3 all season.
13 February 2017 at 10:59 am #155261Joyce needs to face it, it’s time for change either tactically or player wise it’s simply not working.
For me it’s abit of both, and when Obertan rang and begged to come to Latics was it to put the cones and bibs out at training ?.
Very Martinez like, sticks to a system hoping that at the end of the day he can turn around and say “Told you so….” but without change he”ll never get the chance to utter those words13 February 2017 at 12:47 pm #155262Looking at the fixtures, our 8 remaining fixtures do not look the most difficult – Preston, Forest, Bristol, Villa, Rotherham, Barnsley, Cardiff & Leeds, and I’d like to think that we could amass at least 16 points from those games. Then I remember that we’ve won 1 home game in the league since September, and 3 all season.
We’re at the stage of the season where every point (and possibly goal) is priceless.
For me though it’s the run of fixtures qpr, FOREST, blackburn, (birmingham), BRISTOL C that will make or break us. Of the 4 games against teams just above us must get 8-9 points min or it really is over.
13 February 2017 at 2:22 pm #155267Play to win and we may. Play for a draw and we could get stung again like Saturday.
Let’s hope we have a winger on the field soon.13 February 2017 at 2:24 pm #155268Is Obertan on a pay as you play contract, anyone know the crack with this mon?
Fuck the EFL

Let’s hope we have a winger on the field soon.Agreed. The time for playing for a draw, even away, is over. We must set up to win every game now starting tomorrow night. Not holding my breath though
If we go down, so be it. It meant 21 other teams were better than us over the season. But that’s carp and we know it. There is no excuse for us not being at least 6 places higher than we are now.
Said it before, but if we lose having really gone for it in a game, so be it. But Yootha seems happy to sleep walk us into League 1.
2 up front (or 1 playing off 1 if that’s too much for some to stomach). Get the ball in the box enough times something will happen. We might even get “lucky” for a change ;)
13 February 2017 at 5:46 pm #155279Sir Matt Busby once said ‘The best kind of defence is attack’. Who could argue with him with Best, Law and Charlton in his side.
Bell, Summerbee and Lee at City.
Hunt, StJohn and Callaghan at Liverpool.
Teale, Ellington and Roberts at Wigan in more recent times.13 February 2017 at 11:07 pm #155284You may not have noticed but we don’t have Best, Law and Charlton in our side.
Therein lies the difference. -
