It does like we could well go down. Thought there was plenty of effort there today by most players but we just can’t create a decent shot on target. Did their keeper have to make a save today?
And yet another defensive error that cost us, why didn’t perch kick it into touch?

According to the stats he must have had at least 4 shots to save.

That is all well and good but I mean a proper shot, one that actually makes the keeper move quickly or even dive :)

5-4 Now for the drop! My 9-2 is looking like it could be the betting coup of the century! :)

9-2? Betting coup? Hardly
I thought it was a cracking price considering how shit we have been for months on end! :)
Doesn’t come across well. I like a bet and I know there’s no sentimentality in betting. That’s why I only back FOR us and, like yesterday, when the opposition are at an attractive price (Huddersfield 9/4), I can’t bring myself to back against us because I’d feel pretty shit picking up my winnings if (when) we lose. I hope your winnings are of some comfort as you’re browsing next season’s League 1 fixtures.

I really believe that we will go down and my bet wasn’t ever going to tempt providence, it was meant to soften the blow of something that is out of my hands! I wouldn’t mind losing my stake obviously but what will be will be and should we go down I will have subsidised my season ticket! :)
I was on a 0-0 bet yesterday and it would have been that had they not gotten lucky!

Aha but at least he’ll have £5.50 in his sky rocket!

Call me optimistic in the extreme but I still think we’ve enough quality, albeit got rid of a lot of quality, to get out of this. We’d have even more chance if we had a motivational manager suddenly shocked upon us but I’ve given up all hope of that.

Oh, I don’t know. I just expect that quite a few people who weren’t around when we were last a regular fixture in League 1 wil slink off whence they came if it happens again.

Well, there’ll be Sheffield Utd, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United and possibly Colchester United. In this league there’s only Leeds United and Rotherham United so I guess he will.

Probably yeah! On saying that if they are 2 goals or more down with 5 mins on the clock I may well be fucking off early, particularly if they don’t look like they would score if they played till midnight! :)

Who are these people who are saying there is “nothing wrong”. Just because some people are calm and measured and have a sense of perspective (and probably have better things to worry about) doesn’t mean they aren’t aware of, or concerned about, the club’s problems.

Or is it only the miserable bastard, cyncial, negative sneerers who have all the answers. Sorry, all the questions. Other than sack Mackay, scorer more goals and buy better players, I don’t hear many answers coming from the Darkside Class of ’15.

I would say that George’s new thread and some of those commenting on it are suggesting that it is the norm when the facts and figures in my link clearly show that it isn’t! whilst it is not unusual to drop again so swiftly the stats show that we are in a minority! There are no answers or questions ( God you are good! ), the chairman has clearly fucked up with his Coyle and Rosler appointments and now we are in a fuckin mess! I seem to remember the blind faith sticking by Rosler when some of us had actually woken up and smelled that coffee but they knew better didn’t they! There is a cloud still hanging over the appointment of MM and Heaven knows what will happen with that business! It could turn out to be DW’s 3rd faux pas on the bounce which would indicate to me that the old fella has lost his mojo! The damage has been done and so prepare for League One football, possibly League Two before 2020! I will still be there contrary to popular/unpopular belief!
Might get some tee shirts printed with ‘Stay Calm We’re Goin Down’ :)
