6 January 2013 at 8:20 pm #99327mac away good draw thatYes providing we win the replay another test for our developing fringe players and Bosselli
6 January 2013 at 8:27 pm #99329I will go for a Bournemouth away win there !probably as well if Bournemouth do get there …
not beyond the realms of possibility, if we were to win at Bournemouth …
(telford, canvey island, MAC …)6 January 2013 at 11:32 pm #99362A great draw. Against a similar sized club to ourselves
and at one of our oldest rivals.
Come on Martinez play the first team in the replay
at Dean Court and change this dull ugly style we play
and give us a smile.
A little bit of thought about a trip to Wembley
would help lift the depression your tactics are giving
the Latics fans.
Come on Bob most of us want you to do well
but watching Nob End under Beck was more
interesting than what we have now!!!6 January 2013 at 11:40 pm #99365Got lost after similar sized club
6 January 2013 at 11:45 pm #99367Got lost after similar sized club :blink:Good job then because i am sure i read watching nob end under beck, i have to lie down :S
6 January 2013 at 11:45 pm #99369Dean Court??????……..Goldsands Stadium last time I looked
6 January 2013 at 11:53 pm #99370Watching that yesterday had as much in common with football as did Becks tactics.
Equally as crap.7 January 2013 at 12:00 am #99371A great draw. Against a similar sized club to ourselves

I wasn’t that bothered if we won or not at Bournemouth after watching that rubbish yesterday, why should we care when the manager doesn’t give a damn. My thoughts have changed now with the thought of a trip to one of our old foes.
I agree with what you are saying DP, even disregarding yesterdays debacle we are watching the most boring football I have ever witnessed in 45 years as a Latics fan.
Paul Jewell got slagged of to high heaven on here, as did Steve Bruce for having no plan B, Martinez doen’t appear to have a plan A apart from playing keepy ball.
I think we need a change as this last 4 years has really bored the life out of me apart from the odd game here and there.7 January 2013 at 2:51 am #99398A great draw. Against a similar sized club to ourselves

7 January 2013 at 3:33 am #99404Play the first team in the replay, spank them and then play the same team at Macclesfield. We have a strong chance here to reach the 5th round and if the draw is kind who knows what can happen. Look at Portsmouth the other year. Didn’t play a single side ranked above them.
Winning becomes a habit (as does losing) which is why I don’t get why we use the tired excuse. I’ve never heard a player in a winning team say he’s tired. Were our players tired in 2002/03 when they played 46 league games and still played in the cup against WBA, City, Fulham and Blackburn? No they weren’t.
7 January 2013 at 3:58 am #99411You know that is not going to happen egg with games either side of that fixture against Fulham and Sunderland points are more vital in the league than the cup sorry to say but there you have it

An awful lot of Prem sides didn’t take chances over the weekend and played a fair few first teamers. Were so called resting tired players while a Chelsea side who have travelled 1/2 way round the world this christmas and still selected the majority of their main squad on saturday. Both manure and Liverpool made Suarez and van pussy travel and were duly repaid with both coming on to score vital goals . Our bench should have been full of first team players ready to be used when the poo had hit the rotars.
Players are either not match fit or tired , when are they ever raring to go ?? . Pay as u play I say they’d soon over come the “Christmas fatigue syndrome”.
