We have dropped 20 points from winning positions. Had we not have dropped those points, we’d be 3rd in the league from all accounts.
12 December 2019 at 9:26 pm #182888We have also only won 12 games from the last 60 played.
14 December 2019 at 9:36 pm #182936Similar stuff today and just didn’t do enough to deserve to win that game however some very encouraging performances .
Evans , Robinson, Byrne and Kipre stand outs for me and some good forward play from josh Windass.
No blame for their goal just a quality finish.14 December 2019 at 9:54 pm #182937We have dropped 20 points from winning positions. No blame for their goal just a quality finish. And with this clowns boring shite approach to playing football we amassed a lofty two shots on target. Not acceptable. He needs to go.
14 December 2019 at 11:15 pm #182944I cant offer any comment on today’s game as I was working. How did we play etc..?
14 December 2019 at 11:39 pm #182945I cant offer any comment on today’s game as I was working. How did we play etc..?Played really well first half, knocked it about, got forward at every opportunity, worthy leaders at half time, abit lacklustre second half, allowed them to get back into it and took their chance. I think we’re short of a creative midfielder and one or two up top to finish, though they were poor overall, still not seen anything in this league to be frightened of, only difference is teams know how to finish and grind out a result.
14 December 2019 at 11:43 pm #182946I think we did OK.
Worked hard, got a lucky break with the goal but looked threatening, but never quite got that finishing touch and conceded a very well-taken goal.
Could have gone either way in teh last few minutes, but we got a point. Could have been three, could have been none.
For me a point at home at this stage is not enough, but hey-ho.https://www.skysports.com/iframe/widget/video/A5am93aTE6kS1FeEUvcArNNsStMAvAit#

Did you boo Jewell in his early days when we lost games 3 and 4 1 with hardly amy shots?
15 December 2019 at 12:23 am #182949We battled hard, played ok but the reality is scored from one mistake, the only other chance came from another error, created nothing else. However defended really well again. Kipre MOM proved there’s a proper defender in there somewhere. Bit of a gripe when Cook turned up he slowed them down and settled for a point

Bit of a gripe when Cook turned up he slowed them down and settled for a pointKipre looks a whole different player, composed, passing well and judging his challenges better. Is this because he’s playing alongside Naismith? Or Jones is communicating better? Or just a fluke and I need new glasses?
15 December 2019 at 12:53 am #182951For me Kipre seemed to be playing further forward
15 December 2019 at 1:01 am #182952Kipre has one of his best games today but Lee Evans in midfield has been a revelation with his passing range.
Something has changed , bit of advice from the old heads in the club maybe.
Some hope at the very least , not out of it .15 December 2019 at 1:22 am #182953The hightlight of the match for me was the fantastically timed tackle by Kal Naismith in the first half when their player was flying through on goal.
It reminded me a bit of ‘that tackle by Moore’ in the World Cup.
Kal played well again and earned my Man of the Match award for that tackle alone.15 December 2019 at 1:22 am #182954The hightlight of the match for me was the fantastically timed tackle by Kal Naismith in the first half when their player was flying through on goal.
