It is reported, that our beloved owner has asked for there to be a one minutes silence before our game with Millwall on Saturday. I have always tried to stand by Dave Whelan, but this outs a tin hat on it. What on earth is he thinking of?, Won’t this just incite a feeling of complete animosity amongst fans, those who supported her and those like most Wiganers who hated her. Has he gone completely of his rocker?. Lets just hope his request is turned down

9 April 2013 at 10:42 pm #108441Sorry David but neither myself or my family will stand and offer a minutes silence for her, how can anyone who lived under her governance respect the passing of a person who showed no respect whatsoever to the working class of this country.

Twitter has gone completely ballistic over his comments, if we were generally disliked before we are now absolutely hated. Just think what the media are going to make of this at Wembly when our supporters start to boo and jeer. We will never live this down with the southern biased press.
