Having respect for minors hardly indicates being a paedophile does it ! Whelan has finally gone off his rocker though with this latest sound bite !

A minutes silence for a tyrant who despised people in general, especially those who were honest working individuals. Then rode on the back of football hooligans of the time to further her ambitions…
MP David Evans and chairman at luton apparently tried to further his political ambitions also by cow towing to her. After the Millwall cup game, Luton banned away fans.
She has no place in football, especially as it appears she hid the true facts of hillsborough, hence there should be no minutes silence ever, at all.Football silences should be for Football matters, not political no marks..
Rant over.

This evil monster courted the despots in the 80s…Pinochet- 3000 Chilean people disappeared or murdered…PW Botha murderous system of apartheid in South Africa (eg Steve Biko – Sharpeville massacre) loony tunes Reagan (“lets bomb Russia!) Why you may ask? Sources of cheap fuel i.e Coal so that our miners and pits could be wound up despite coal still being plentiful underground. Minutes silence at Wembley? Sunderland? LIVERPOOL/EVERTON!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah.. we’ll see.
10 April 2013 at 2:56 am #108505First of all let me state that my father was a miner who died a slow lingering death at the age of sixty after ten years of suffering. I must also add that I have never voted Tory in my life but my views differ somewhat to those stated above.
In the 70s life for the working man was pretty good if you happened to be a Miner, Docker or Car Worker but the rest of society had to cope with high interest rates, galloping inflation and pay rises which were a fraction of the aforementioned. We also had to cope with power cuts; short time working; rat infested, rubbish strewn streets and unburied dead. It would appear that some people are either too young to know or have selective/short memories.
Trade Unions were so powerful that they actually brought down a democratically elected government and we lived in a state of virtual anarchy where strikes were the order of the day.
For all Margaret Thatcher’s failings (and there were many) she was the only politician of the day who had the guts to stand up to the Union bully-boys who were bringing this country to it’s knees.
If the coal mines were still open, would the above posters want their offspring to “go down the mine”? Would the above posters want to buy Rover cars if the factory had not been mercifully closed?
