And you’re probably right, but being a rugby fan you should know more than most that when you’re missing 8 or 9 first choice players you’ll struggle against most first choice sides no matter how good your squad is.

I’m reading little into last night because unless we get an injury crisis where we need to pick our 2nd and sometimes 3rd choice in every single position all at the same time we won’t see that side again or some of those players.

SkyBet have you slight favourites and they’re probably right, but there’s a long way to go and like I say…….last night won’t matter one bit.

Mutty might come if he isn’t helping his daughter move.

Be nice for him to see a Wigan team score at home.

Yeah, I came for this one. Even the two lads with the drums didnt stay much longer than the 70th minute, I did find it amusing that their rapid beat suddenly turned to a funeral-style single beat as Luke O’Nien swept the 2nd goal in.

Don’t think I heard the drummer all night ,very subdued atmosphere for the whole match apart from a few muffled chants.Even the Sunderland fans were relatively quiet.

Disappointing game from our point of view. It did show that we don’t have strength in depth and apart from Tilt, I am not sure any of those players will have given Leam any food for thought.

Was certainly surprised Massey didn’t stamp his claim, had a very poor night.

FA Cup Winners 2013, sounds good that

I was surprised he was subbed, unless he had a knock. To haul off your captain is a very damning statement. But then again, everything I read about the guy suggests that he doesnt want to be there, but the problem is that nobody else wants him either.

I don’t think last nights game did show that we would struggle with injuries, unless we get 9 out at the same time. Our first 11 with 4 or 5 decent players on the bench, is all good for me. With just 3 -4 more first team players in the lineup rather than just one first team outfield player would have seen a different game. I’m pretty confident that our best 15-16 players are better than Sunderland’s best 15-16 players. :good:
