Sorry but I’m not sure your calculations are right. I saw an interview with DW and he said that the prem had that much money they and us should be letting fans in for free? We made 35 mill from T.V. alone last year and sold at least 18 mill worth of players thats 53 mill without all the other money you get from being in the Prem.
It does not cost that much to run Wigan Athletic we have a tiny squad and a small set up so were does 53 mill or more go? He has never spent big money on players he got lucky with good managers who got him Premier League football on a tiny budget. And with his policy of selling our fan base instead of growing will get smaller. I’ve always been proud to follow the Tics even when we were rubbish but because of DW we are becoming a laughing stock an

No i know they get paid but your off your head if you think we have a wage bill of 40 mill. Our squad is championship standard at best and DW will be paying them as such so don’t kid yourself that we pay good wages!!!!
It was 38 million last year; i know that for a fact.
I’s probably less now because some of the big players have gone.
Viscous Finger i wouldn’t even bother trying to explain to some of the fools on this board that we are out our depth in Prem. They aint got a clue! They think money grows on trees and players are paid peanuts.
Bring back away days to Walsall, Macclesfield, Chesterfield etc. Proper football.

Try 16 and we even got to watch the reserves for nought
