The build up was all about `it will be a difficult game` `Wales have quality`??
What a joke, but the biggest joke was only 4004 turned up!
Another embarrassing day for rugby league.28 October 2012 at 12:54 pm #95788Record breaking win with a good blend of young and old. 4 tries on debut for a Wigan lad (well, Chorley). Not all bad.
It was always going to be a cricket score which is probably why the crowd was so poor. I wouldn’t have gone had Latics not been playing. Would you turn up to watch England play if you knew they’d lose by at least 5?
28 October 2012 at 2:54 pm #95793I wouldnt go and watch England play full stop.
Who won the Welsh RL championship and the Welsh RL Cup this year Eggy?

Leave Egg alone he his the lone latics fan on North Korea rl
anyhow chubbies have there knickers in a wist again even though it’s five months off they really are bitter
Not sure if anyone’s noted this yet or if we’re clear whats going on but just realised the wendyballers are at home to Norwich on the 30th March (Sat after Good Friday).
Firstly, why has this happened? Surely when the fixtures were done for the @r5eholes they should have requested an away game that weekend, knowing we are due to be at home good friday
Secondly, will Whelan not be a tool and allow us to play on the GF or are we going to be made to move?
Surely this is one Leneghan must have already covered and is one he must put his foot down on?
This is GF against saints and tradition against a 3rd rate no mark soccer game!
28 October 2012 at 4:52 pm #95797Got your ticket for the big game against Bradford yet? I hear its a sell-out – Well the away end is.
Remember when you are crowing about your massive attendance that 5000 of the fans have not come to support Wigan.
5500 Empty seats again yesterday – poor show.

28 October 2012 at 5:27 pm #95800Do the Welsh rugby team actually have any Welsh players or are they like the England cricket team ?
28 October 2012 at 6:01 pm #95802Got your ticket for the big game against Bradford yet?
But that’s the point actually.
It ISN’T a big game for us. It is for Bradford. I’m not being condescending here, but that’s just how it is.
Say for example Warriors drew Batley in the Challenge Cup. Which team’s supporters would show more interest?
28 October 2012 at 9:42 pm #95803obviously the w@nkers sorry meant warriors as being drawn against one of the biggest names in the south lancs yorkshire trophy with a massive history like batley
should attract all wurriors fans from its fan base of chorley horwich bolton westhoughton and leigh
pity nobody in wigan gives a fck about the wurriors28 October 2012 at 10:04 pm #95804Do the Welsh rugby team actually have any Welsh players or are they like the England cricket team ?They do yes. Gil Dudson Ben Flower Rhodri Lloyd and Reece Pugsley all play for Wigan for example. I don’t know the rest of their squad though tbh.

29 October 2012 at 12:08 am #95812“In recent years rugby league’s popularity in Wales has been on the increase. Matches between teams in the Welsh Premier division generally draw crowds of around 300 spectators.”
