95% of people who play online lose, that’s a fact, but like I said, part of the price you pay is for the enjoyment you get.
I play live poker too and I win more live than I do online. That’s because 99% of players online are decent players and are tougher to beat. Playing ‘have a go’ players in pubs is like shooting fish in a barrel, some of the hands they play and bet are unbelievable.
As far as bad beats go, there are just as many crazy things happen on a live table as they do online. Anyone who blames bad beats for losing online is usually a poor player.
I’m not a poor player. I don’t think the players thqat play online are good! I think there are a lot of players who just play donk, constantly! I also like to play live but where I play the players are all of a similar standard, and it isn’t that bad. It is easy to play against the ‘have a go’ players and beginners. But I also don’t like to play against new faces because as you will know, a lot of the game, and a big part of winning… Is bluffing, and you cannot bluff a beginner, they think 3rd pair is good with a straight draw and flush draw out and you have constantly bet at it, or even when you have just waited for the card to bluff on and they still call with 3rd pair or high card. Hate playing beginners to be fair, I would prefer to play against a player of good standard because at least they will lay down when they think they are behind and they are easier to reaad, that is just my opinion though. Where do you play live?
