I know what you’re saying Griff but I’m really struggling to understand why someone would think like that.
As you say life would be different if we all felt the same but if someone isn’t good enough at what they do at Latics then they should be replaced – in my opinion of course
I know it’s a tough one, and believe me I don’t want to be relegated. Unlike many on this forum, for example, I love the fact that we get to see Latics play (badly) in the best (sic) league in the world every week.
However, unlike you, I do like to see this style of football being played. I wouldn’t like to dismantle that style – which I understand pervades alll levels at the club now – just to avoid relegation.
I get your point of view, and it’s probably much more rational and pragmatic than mine, but I guess we’ll just have to agree to differ. :)
